We haven't set a date but we do know when. We went on our first date on October 15 so that's always been our anniversary date. We really want to do our best to do it within that time period.

But it won't be until next year. Things are so hectic with expenses this year, i.e. h.s. reunion, couple of destination weddings, etc... that we can't afford to do it until next years.

Good news it 10/15 is a Saturday in 2005! So that may likely be the date!

Hey there! Long time no see!

As for getting married, I'd do it tomorrow if we could afford it. It's not a matter of putting it off for the simple sake of planning. It's a $$ issue!

RickinNYC and billysotherdad, October would be a beautiful time to get married in New England.

I wear a white gold band most of the time when I go out. I don't wear my engagement ring much anymore. No engravement in either ring. [color=FF3300]NC Beast[/color] orignally had a simple yellow gold band that he nearly lost on the Tea Cups at WDW...he lost it a couple of years later. Now he wears a Back Hills gold ring. I like that ring just as well.

Provincetown is a lot of fun. We've been a few times. In the early 90's we stayed at a motel right on the beach in North Truro (which is only a few miles from P'town). Then we went with friends and rented a house in Orleans in 1994 (when Eric was a baby), and then we rented a house again with friends in 1997. That was in Eastham. Anyway, we go for at least a day to Provincetown. Race Point Beach, whale watching, and they have great restaurants. We were going to camp there this year, but they don't have full hook ups. It's a bit too rustic for us.

Hmm..I was going to say come to Florida and I will marry you for free ( I am a Notary Public and have married people in the past ), but I don't know if Mass accepts unions outside of the state. Oh well..it was an idea!

When I checked into the Lodge, I asked if they had Flag Family available...they did and we had the best time...pictures link is below.

I wear a traditional silver claddagh ring that Joe gave me.

I gave Joe a gold stylized claddagh ring that I had shipped from Ireland. it's gold, with three claddagh designs embedded around it with tiny emeralds on each heart. In beween each heart is a gaelic word which forms the sentence Mo Anam Cara which means My Sould Mate. It sounds flashy but it's really not. Very manly man.
