Yes you are lucky, and so am I! The best thing about having a GREAT big sister is....you'll have each other your entire lives.

Good morning all,

I've had a little more landscaping done over night.
A full English breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, beans and tomato with fried bread and toast is served in the new English tea garden (follow the path to the right past the hot tub.)

I did a little more work to the rest of the English garden too, what do you all think?

and then this leads through to the Japanese garden that I will work on today,

OK, I've finished landscaping

for now.

So what are peoples plans today? I have to be at the theatre for 6 hours!! We have band rehearsal from 12-3 and then we are running the show with the cast from 4 - 6pm!! We have dress rehearsal on Tuesday and the show runs from Wednesday-Saturday. It is going to be another hot day here so we are going to roast in the theatre!

Oh well, I'll be back later to work on the Japanese garden.

Good morning all, I spent an awful long time catching up, after 1 day!!!!!!!!!

Danauk, RRBB was talking abut adding your smilie last night, but we have a fairly busy day today AS THIS IS OUR LAST WEEKEND BEFORE WE GO TO WDW FOR OVER A WEEK!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure how I feel about posting pictures of our underage [color=0066FF]T[/color][color=CC0066]A[/color][color=00CC66]G[/color][color=00BFFF]L[/color][color=FF1493]I[/color][color=FF6600]K[/color][color=FFCC00]I[/color][color=9900FF]N[/color][color=00FF00]S[/color] permanently in the Color Wheel... will have to think about that one...

All of the pics were beautiful, we have a regular Home and Garden Thread going on...

Busy day, Breakfast with our cousin whose daughter used to work for Disney, but got laid off and now works for Seaworld and is soooo very much happier.... evidently Disney does not treat their employees as well as they did when Roy was running the place... But I still love the place...I digress... Breakfast with a cousin, when we finish that we have some friends that invited us to a picnic. we shouldn't stay too long there, after we leave we have a show at the market to go to and scope out Stuff like furnishings and things to make life easier. Then Home for a nap. I have a training seminar at 6:00PM I might go to, but am not sure...

Busy day...

OK, Adult question for [COLOR=9900CC]oddball27[/COLOR], TalkisCheap, [COLOR=FF69B4]bloomie43[/COLOR], FPgurl04 or whoever can answer... What exactly does it mean to be "going with" a boy in the 9th grade (not the 8th grade, I was informed that in the 8th grade, everybody knows you are together, and you hang out with one another. There are lots of break-ups, but none too tragic...) I hope I remember it right...

I am just curious when the Kissing (Snogging for our UK readers) starts, and when you are allowed to go with them to places like the movies and Ice-Cream Parlor without adult supervision... Oh, I don't know whether I could handle being a daddy of teenage girls...must breathe normally, the girls have good heads on their shoulders...will not date Pirates, Criminals or anybody bad. They will all find future presidents of the united states (Oh wait a minute, that may not be so good either) Breathe in, breathe out Normal easy breaths......

Danauk stop torturing me! I am dying to go plant more stuff thanks to you! Only problem is it's been raining for, like, two days and all I have to work with is mud and more mud!

Love the pictures, I'm curious as to how you will flow from the English tea garden into the traditional Japanese garden. Won't be easy, but I have complete confidence in our resident landscaping expert.

My opinion is that the posting pictures of our underage members shouldn't be any different than posting pictures of our own kids. Aren't there school websites and what-not these days with pictures of teenagers? Sounds to me like TalkisCheap parents keep a close watch on her computer do-ins as her dad wouldn't let her download smileycentral. They probably know she posted her picture here already. Maybe they could e-mail permission to have her picture in our photo album?

Oh and BTW TalkisCheap, you are soooo cute and/or pretty, whichever you prefer. You look to be of the petite order, lucky girl! Older sis and older bro? Sounds like my little Ella.

Oh and love the pictures from WDW Kadaten. MORE MORE MORE!

I think I will dig through my pictures and see if I can pick out some for RRBB to put in the new kids album.

The difference being that you, as an adult, control the information you share about your kids. Many of you have not said where you live, certainly not given out school names. But our underage friends may have shared information about themselves in other threads here on the DIS - there's a whole forum just for teens - that could be traced back to where they live and/or go to school. We just don't know. And I'd hate to be a contributor to something happening to them by some crazy lurker.

(I think most school websites require userid/password to get into any of the personal information, though I could be wrong. I don't have kids so I've only checked out a few sites for niece/nephew/friends' kids schools.)

Call me paranoid okay. I've just seen and read too many stories about the awful things that can happen based on innocent actions on the internet.

I got caught up on posts before bed last night.
My Goodness, Danauk you have been busy! How big of a crew do you have working with you? The grounds of the island are blooming! I'm loving having breakfast in the English Tea Garden. Thank you so much!

I'm feeling better this monring (not quite 100% yet, but at least I'm not sneezing every 5 minutes). I think I may go putter in my tiny yard before it gets too hot. Danauk, you've inspired me to at least go pull some weeds!

Had a lovely time at [COLOR=660099]TiggersPal's[/COLOR] house yesterday. Just spent the day sitting on the patio (with my kleenex) visiting with old friends. Cooked burgers/dogs/chicken on the grill and had some very tasty rum cake.

OF funny you should mention the Kissing thing with teenage girls. DH and I were just talking about him catching Sam in a lip lock with one of her old boyfriends. She was 15 yrs old. And he was right there with ya, heart palpatations etc. I think it horrified Sam more to be caught. It was a long, quiet ride hoime from the football game. hehehehe

Well I lived through Prom night last night . They went to the lock in after Prom party ( school sponsered it ) and they didnt make it home till 6:30 am . 1St time little Miss Whitney has ever been allowed out like that . It helped I was busy with Wrestling , after we had a death in the kids group of friends this week my son ( the young man wrestled) didnt think he would wrestle.

He is ranked 3rd inthe state for Collegic and now after last night he is 3rd in the state for Freestyle . The best part is he QUALIFIED for NATIONALS last night !!!!!

We are going to Fargo N.D. this summer for Nationals .

Ok now back to regulary scheduled reading .

Well, after that horrible lightning/thunder storm last night, the rain has been pouring down, and washed away my plans for going to meet Matt down in the port( )

ohanafamily, hmm about kissing, I guess it would differ, I know my share of SIXTH graders who make out with their 'boyfriends' and then break up the next day...what loving relationships you really get into at 11 years old... . I've never kissed a guy ( hehe), and I think if I had, and my parents found out, I would be grounded for a really long time...hehe. I've been to the movies with guys and stuff, but usually in a group with some other friends. My parents said they WANT me to wait until I'm 9th grade until I start going on 'dates' like, alone. I'm fine with that, I wanna be a kid and hang out with my friends before I start getting into boyfriends, kissing, dating, etc.

About the picture thing, my mom knows I put it on here, and it used to be in my signature...but do whatever you think is best, I respect your concern for my safety, and I know there is good reason for it.


I think I'm going to go put my gumby trucka hat on a look pretty !!

congrats on two counts MAD. First on surviving prom and second for your son's victory. Does this mean a free ride to college? I wouldn't take anything less!!! Plus have the college give him spenidng money too!! Why not go for the whole enchilada! He is only a junior right??? Has he been scouted already?? Exciting.
