I say that because where there's a will, there's a way. There are lots of options for getting pics digital these days... Walmart and other stores can do it for you, take a digital pic of the photo, send a duplicate copy to us and we'll scan it, scan it at work/school, you can try faxing it to us (might not come out so good but will probably work). Most stores only charge a small fee for scanning and saving to disk and it shouldn't take that long for them to do it. So see, there are many ways to get the job done if you really put your mind to it.
