We just finished our Wednesday morning workout, affectionately refered to as "Rat Farts". (You can ask ohanafamily how that name came about.) We do a slightly different workout each day and Wednesday's includes weights and stretches.

ohanafamily should be heading off to the doctor now, but he's sitting across from me still on the computer.

A quick update on the Baby Photo Contest. We now have 13 entries. Anyone else want to play???]

Well, it's just about time to start packing for our trip. Check it out, we're down to 3+ days until we leave.

Good Morning..I am making brownies for a mid morning snack.. i think i should double the recipe for all of us.

Junior Mint Brownies
16 brownies

Cooking spray

1/4 cup butter or stick margarine

32 (about 3 ounces) creamy, small-size mints in pure chocolate (such as Junior Mints)*

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/8 teaspoon salt

2/3 cup sugar

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa

1 large egg

1 large egg white


*Note: Two large (1.5-ounce) mints or 6 miniature chocolate-covered peppermint patties (such as York) may be substituted for 32 Junior Mints.




Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.


Coat bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray.


Combine butter and mints in a 2-cup glass measuring cup; microwave on high 30 seconds or until soft. Stir until smooth, and set aside.


Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup, and level with a knife. Combine flour, soda, and salt in a bowl.


Combine sugar, cocoa, egg, and egg white in a large bowl; beat at medium speed of a mixer until well-blended. Add mint mixture; beat well. Add flour mixture; beat at low speed just until blended.


Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean; cool completely on a wire rack.

I have this too!!! I have had it for two years!! I LOVE IT!!! I have never done any of the specials that they mail to me, but the 20% off can't be beat...the card paid for itself the first trip I used it!

I finally get my dividend miles acct all set up. Find out that I need 20,000 points for my flight. Get onto USAirways. Put in my dates. AND THE ONLY FLIGHT I CAN RESERVE ON SATURDAY IS AT 5:30 IN THE EVENING!!!! Sure there were lots of flights going home on Wednesday, but probably because it's a Saturday, they only allow one flight.

Back to square one.

I'm peeved.

And it is a beautiful day! On the RIDE HOME from our meet it started raining quite hard, and luckily we got all our events in!! Thanks for all the congrats and stuff about my places!! It was one of my better meets. My next meet is next Tuesday and the LAST regular season meet!! Then it's the championship meet!! I'm really excited/nervous!! This was such a fun season, can't believe it's almost over!!

Hmm, well, I guess I COULD do the hurdles if I wanted, but, I tried them once probably 2 years ago, and I fell and scraped up my knees pretty bad, and so now it is more of a mental block than actually not being able to do it.

Wow....My mom just told me that a guy that is friends with out family(I've never actually met him)his 4 year old son died last Saturday after being hit by a car at their older daughter's high school graduation party...that's horrible!! Wow....

I have a question - when do we know who wins the baby photo contest??
