Hi everyone, I'm back from my 6 hours at the theatre and it was roasting in there. The cast have to stay until 9pm to run the show again (it isn't going too well!! and opening night is on Wednesday!! )

I've been working on the Japanese garden for us. It will be linked from the English garden through a section of pergolas. The ones on the English side of the garden will have climling roses on them and then the ones on the Japanese side will just be painted with a gravel path underneath.
So here is what I have done so far (with some help - the people you see in some of the pictures are the gardeners).
This takes us out of the English garden

and then this links it into the Japanese garden (the pergolas attatch onto one another.)

Then this leads into

and the other end of the pond

Along the path you will see

This leads you over the pond back to the house. Then you go through,

which leads you back up the path to the mansion.

I hope you like these.

There is still a little more of the island left to develop, but I'm still finding inspiration for that. Does anyone have any suggestions for a theme?
