Well, pizza is here but the friends we're expecting for dinner aren't. Oh well...they're heading back from IKEA (3 hours away) and must be running late. Guess I'll be polite and wait for them to eat, in spite of the fact that I'm starving!! Well, maybe a breadstick won't hurt

DANAUK - I 'm sorry I can't figure out how to get the color wheel, so please bear with me, but I wanted to post the landscaping photos for our garden and pool ! SO BEAUTIFUL. I'm sitting in the garden now, with my laptop - looking at the beautiful roses, feeling wonderful! Thanks for creating such a wonderful place for us. I should come here more often.

Also, to those of you who would love to come to Sedona on our (how did my sister put that earlier) (I'll im her...) "new age psychic mumbo jumbo wooo wooo" weekend, you sure can!!! It would be nice to meet some more DIS'ers. I've only met NATIVETXN so far. I know Ibouncetoo has many plans to meet y'all in October, and future trips. Anyway, just wanted to tell you all how much I appreciate coming and hanging with you - when I have the time. You are a good bunch! Don't you think it's kinda crazy that my sister and I live one mile from each other and talk via the disboard? hmmmmm me thinkest this is strange.

As for the limit, when they upgraded the server software a month or two ago it no longer needed to limit the number of pages....I think Pete or Alex said the new limit is 150,000 pages....so it'll be awhile before anyone gets shut down or locked out I think one of the other threads said it keeps moving so they can keep visiting new places.....but I don't remember which one! [color=339900]ibouncetoo[/color], have fun in Sedona. I loved my trip there a year and a half ago. I had a great time. I'd never been to the Southwest before; I wasn't sure I'd like it. But it's so beautiful! My SIL's parents were visiting AZ and stopped in Sedona. Within a week they put a bid in on a house with a view of Elephant Rock!

Anyone planning on getting any vouchers for meals for Oct? I am not interested in the quick and casual. Last trip, I picked one up on hotwiresavingsplan.com. Signed up for a 30day free membership, got one voucher (3 of us ate on) and got a 10.00 rebate check in the mail. I think it ended up being 20.00 and we ate at RFC. Our bill would have been 76.00

Ok so my DD who is now a graduate Is on her way out to a movie . When she was leaving I of course asked her to turn around so I could check the length of her shorts she said and I quote

Well it was close but not exactly like that Lew ....
She only got $40.00 and she still doesnt have her new car . Although she has hinted that she is not really wanting to drive her "old" car its not that old . She asked today if they had gotten the new brakes on the Mustang . MY DH should not have told her about that stupid Mustang . Now she will bug me till we pick it up .

Hi all, I snuck out and saw the new Harry Potter Movie (I would have seen Shrek2, but DW would have killed me; she will be upset enough about Harry Potter...

My thoughts are that the movie was OK, and I expected a whole lot more. They changed far too much for convenience, and the transitions were not very good for the most-part. The transition to the final credits is a good one to note; it changes from a stylized picture of Harry (that is moved way out of context from the book, and if you read the book it destroys a lot of the tournament action.) stops, and Harry says the thing to make the map appear. It could have been awsome and cool, but the way they did it fails. The castle and grounds have changed a whole bunch since the first 2 movies as well. I also detest adding humor at the expense of sub-plots. I wound up at Dinner with my parents, and 2 Nieces and 2 Nephews, and the NP-DD & DS (as Robin puts it) loved the movie. I feel that the director did not capture the spirit of the books, and tried too hard to add "Fun"

As I said, it was good, but I expected a whole lot more.....

Hey everyone,
Well it is about 4:15am here and I am wide awake!! One of the cats woke me up by miowing very loudly outside the house! So I let it in where he promptly carried on miowing by the back door. So I let him out again and he sits by the back door to the garage where their food is kept. They had run out of food!! He wokr me up to tell me this! Not happy. So I refilled the food bowl and now I am wide awake!! I have done some school planning whilst sitting in the back garden and now dawn is breaking, the birds are singing (really loudly) and I can't get back to sleep!! Oh well. So, what is going on then?
