Something tells me that's from that movie you told you saw on one of your first dates with your DBF. Can't remember the name though!

I don't see why I couldn't leave on Saturday. I'll have to deal with a pouting husband, but I'll just bribe him. I'll tell him I'll bring him home a really cool new toy. :p

The Halloween party? :guilty: I'm sorry, but I'm just not feeling it. But I don't want to stop anyone else, of course. Didn't Lewski say she wasn't hot on it? If that's the case, Lewski and I could do something else, and we all could meet up. Just an idea.
So it's Saturday? Yay!!

Re: the Halloween party...no biggie! I'd like to since I've never done it, but remember, I'll be LIVING there that time next year, so I can DEFINITELY do it then :) Plus, that way the kids could do it, too! I want to go, but that is the one thing I'd feel just a little bit guilty doing without the kids ::yes:: Not enought to stop me if everyone was in, but we can skip it! Like I said, I'm just happy to be going ::yes:: Not picky about what we do....although if anyone tries to skip the F&W festival I may have to strike out on my own :teeth: I'm a glutton for yummy food :teeth:

While we are throwing out ideas here, if I do get a hopper pass, would anyone be interested in doing Fantasmik (I think that's what it's called :o )? I've never seen it.

Again, just throwing it out there. Don't feel bad if you don't want to.
Fantasmic would be fine with me! I haven't seen it in several years....DH isn't much into shows so I don't make him go...especially since it involves a long wait beforehand just to get a seat. But I like it so I'd love to go :)

Ok, first let me pre-face:
I have LOTS of photos of old flames and DH is ok with it. I remain friends with them, most all....to this day. Apparently, when you get to know me....I'm hard to forget, nor do they want to. :teeth:

This is Simon, mostly posted for Danauk

iluvtink , if for some reason you FIND yourself available in October, there IS always room for one more. Who knows, you may even have to MAKE yourself available. Moms need to do these kinds of things for their MENTAL HEALTH. And if God didn't mean for moms to go out of town, he wouldn't have invented pizza and sci-fi videos for dads and kids. ::yes::
Like today for instance!!!!!!!!! Can we leave tonight? Please? PRETTY PLEASE? WITH SUGAR ON TOP? AND A CHERRY??

Arrrgggghhhhh!!! DS has me contemplating adoption today....but I would have to pay someone WAY more $$$ than I have to take him off my hands today! Don't know what side of the crib he woke up on but I do know it was the WRONG side!! Poor DH called at lunch to see how our day was going....he got more than he bargained for in that phone call, but made sure to not make him feel guilty (he usually does anyway that I have the brunt DS's foul temper most days) as it's not his fault. He just caught us at exactly the wrong moment...anyway. I guess I'll keep him.....but DS better be happy he's so darn cute.......he might have been left for the gypsies long ago....

Wasn't someone else complaining about a DS's behavior lately? Seems to be going around....maybe it's the weather?? But I thought kids were supposed to be HAPPY when nice weather came back! If that is still the case, could someone please inform my DS!

Oh good kadaten .
:Pinkbounc

If we now have three full days, what do you want to do on the other full day? (BTW, this stinks that Lewski can't DIS. I'll have to copy what we are talking about and e-mail it to her. LOL.) Do Lewski and I want to buy a three day hopper? Or do we want to go to DD and do shopping? Or do we want to catch some rays by the pool?

So many options! :bounce:

:rolleyes1 Just talking to myself here...oh well...at least noone is screaming back....or crying....or throwing a tantrum....or...oh nevermind.....think I'll go eat some chocolate and take a nap ::yes::

I am up for the whole PS Dinner and fantasmic thing... We like Momma Melrose...

:bounce:

Oh, Kadaten, smile and kiss the little one...you can always threaten him with no WDW, or worse yet, leaving him on the jungle cruise... or even... Snall world...

Saw your reply when I posted...

Ditto on Lewski not DISing....

I'm just happy to be going!! REALLY!! I love all of the above....well, I'm not too happy with myself in a swimsuit these days, but I'm not trying to pick up anyone so I'll just deal if that's what everyone wants to do! Honestly, I don't even know what you guys decided to do the 2nd day!! I know Epcot....what was the other choice? I could spend an entire day at DTD so that's good, too! I LOVE to shop ...just ask my friends Visa and MasterCard....

As for the quote, super easy! It was quoted by Loomis, played by Donald Pleasance in Halloween II!

While we're on the subject of Halloween.... In the original Halloween, Lindsay and Tommy (the little boy and girl) were watching a horrow movie show. Which show were they watching (six straight hours of horrow movies) and which movie were they watching?

Except Small World is CLOSED!!! (And that's not really a threat...he LOVES it!!)

We rode it on it's last day, May 1 :( When we were there May 2, it was VERY sad to see it dark. The rope lines had been taken down and that covered area has been turned into...GASP!....stroller parking!! Oh the disgrace!
IASW%20closed%201.jpg

Well, at least you can walk through that part of FantasyLand now... And the next day, May 3, they'd gotten the wood walls up so you couldn't see into the darkened ride area... SAD. But they'd already started work on the 3rd...getting a fresh coat of paint on some parts of the exterior ::yes:: Can't wait to see what they do to it!

Anyway...I've never eaten at Mama Melrose's! We should try it! We like 50's Prime Time Cafe....or the Sci-Fi Dine In if we're in need of distraction :)

Honey, can you say SARONG??? :teeth: Now if I can just find one wide enough. Bwhaaaaaaaaaa. (I'm so glad neither of you are a six 6. ;) Misery loves company! :teeth: )

Okay, what were we talking about. Oh, Epcot one day, MK on another. Definitely Epcot F&W festival one night, and PI with DHB. Other ideas we mentioned for evening fun were: Boardwalk, DD, Monorail Happy Hour Run, Fantasmic.

BTW, where are we doing our breakfast meet?

Ilutink, I see you got your smilies working again, what was the problem?

hi ohana,
actually, my smilies aren't really working ... I just thought of a way around the problem! I could not get Microsoft IE to install with the zip file you so kindly sent me... I'm afraid I didn't know the exact steps to take, start to finish, and the steps I did take were apparently not the right ones! However, I realized the other day that since I still have smilies in my Outlook Express, I could just go there, seach and then copy the HTML from there back into the DIS. Aren't you proud of me? Now if you had a to give me the brains to install the IE you sent....

BBarb, thanks so much for the reminder that I can still join the Goils if I can break my ! At the present there are two problems: first, we have to pay the balance on our Disney cruise this month, :scared: plus we got an unexpected final bill from the ortho to the tune of $3670.55 that is also due this month :scared1: ... not a good time to ask for an extra trip to WDW! second, my sweet Katie, with her special needs, is difficult to leave behind. We're working on independence, but it's a slow road. At 11, she's also facing the Puberty Monster, and I'll leave it at that. Who knows how things will change by October. I'm done pouting for today and will cross my fingers instead!

Lewski love Simon, the open-jeans dude!!! Glad the next one is your ex ... but at least he's better looking than mine was. You look just how I pictured you!

Danauk - hang in there with the testing... school's almost over! Today they had a huge teachers' appreciation luncheon at school ... I took a yummy strawberry cream salad... I hope there's some left for me!

Too figgin hot. Maybe I'm going thru menopause too????? UGH! :p :p :p

Cool, I think we have one of those rapping competitions going on here. :hyper:

iluvtink, I hear you and totally understand. ::yes:: As a matter of fact, I just started shoving 20's in a little secret compartment in my wallet, so I don't have to put everying on a credit card in October. I told you about the DD's (that would be the "damned dogs"). Between grooming, vet visits, and Beanie's spaying surgery, I rang up over $600 on them in less than three weeks. :(

Glad you're keeping Lewski apprised :)

Have either of you ever done JellyRolls on the Boardwalk or Adventurers Club at PI? I haven't and have heard raves about AC...not much about Jellyrolls, though. I've been to some piano-sing-along bars before and had a great time (like the Flying B at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs).... Do you know if it's one of those places?

Monorail Happy Hour sounds good, too, although we may need to bring a wheelbarrow for me if we're required to drink at every stop! I don't drink very often, so sometimes get loopy pretty quick....I'm a cheap date :) ...but no worries...I'm a happy drunk ::yes::

Move on up to Syracuse. It's a sunny and 76 degrees with not a hint of humidity in the air. Don't you know we are known for our good weather up here.

BTW, did anyone watch SNL on Saturday. I read in the paper this morning that Weekend Update was making fun of our coveted Snowball Award. (See, not only do we win trophies for having the most snow in a city of over 100,000 people, news is so slow that this actually made the morning paper!)

Rushing--must get home before bus.

Boardwalk - never been. DH went to dinner at Flying Fish (by himself as he was down there on business) and he loved it. Expensive. But I think it wasn't the food that made the experience, it was the blonde dentist he sat next to at the bar. We'll save that story for another time. Spoodles is supposed to be good.

Adventurers Club - went once a long time ago, maybe honeymoon in 1990. Was fun. Is the Neon Armidillo still around?
