umm, my brother is the father of [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR]'s baby, so I'm gonna go puke now.....

Anyway, I found out I was pregnant, so I called [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] & told her. Her response? But I was supposed to be first!! Huh? You guys are trying? I had no idea. She didn't know we were trying either. I think it's weird to tell people your trying (for me anyhow). Anyway, she said they'd been trying for a couple of months, but they weren't trying the last month as they didn't want new baby to come at Christmas time. Well, the next day [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] & I went shopping at Babies R US. She went home that afternoon & took a test, you guessed it, she was knocked up too!

BTW, I bought a pair of shorts at Old Navy. Super cute. I love them. I want another pair in "stone", but they didn't have my size. I may have to order them on-line.

I just thought of another amusing story (well it is now, it wasn't for the poor child at the time!) A few years ago one of the younger boys (about 5 years old) somehow managed to get himself wedged into his chair. I think he was kneeling on it then stood up but put his legs through the back of it. Anyway he got stuck fast. We tried to pull him out, didn't work. We tried to add some lubrication, didn't work. So the only thing left to do was call the :firefight

firemen. So we got the child and chair out to the front of the school where we waited for the very yummy :firefight

who looked scrummy in their uniforms - suddenly a lot of the female staff had to attend to things at the front of the school so they could see them!! So eventually the :firefight

manage to get the kid out of the chair by cutting the chair off him :eek:

To this day we can not work out how exactly he managed to get himself stuck.

short update:

DBf was only in town for a few hours so we went out to Taco Bell for dinner.We're hoping to meet up this weekend to see either Hellboy or Scooby Doo 2(with a date for Van Helsing in the works).I'm on the hunt for a new job come summer since I hate being at the mercy of family payday

OMG, I had just started typing when lo and behold 3 trucks from the gas company pull up and start digging in my next door neighbor's (Ms. Wacko) front yard. I went out to find out why when I noticed MY whole front yard has spray paint marks and they inform me that they might have to dig that up too........ :eek:

Well, I don't mean to brag, :snooty:

but I have the MOST beautiful Japanese maple tree you've ever seen and NOONE is coming close to digging it up!......at least not as long as I'm alive.......so...... I've been out there arguing with the gas company people and I think I've finally convinced them to leave my poor tree alone........but only after several calls to their manager.....and my other neighbor (not Ms. Wacko) just walked out and tied her little yappy dog to the tree which is pretty funny seeing how all these big guys are actually afraid of it.......I tried to take Cadbury out there but once she realized they were friendly, she was letting the gas people pet her :rolleyes:

and actually licking their hands.....ungratetul dog.....I love her anyway....I think she actually helped because they're now digging on the other side of the tree instead of through it.....thank goodness....the little yappy dog is still yap, yap, yapping away so I've got to give him most of the credit....he looks kinda like Bichon Barb's Beanie....but without the dirty mouth :teeth:

Gotta run get Jordan from school......

Your dog sounds like my cat Cheeky. If we ever had unwanted visitors he would be useless. He would just walk around their legs purring loudly until they stroked him!! :cat:

Ok, I'm back and the Japanese maple has not been touched.....

My crazy neighbor next door has had a gas leak and they're trying to fix it.....they dug up her yard several months ago and thought they had fixed it then but apparently didn't get it right. :rolleyes:

They said something about a connecting pipe (or something like that) in my yard might be the problem

They also said they'd bring me some topsoil, grass seed, etc to fix my lawn but hers still doesn't look right after the last digging.......they did dig up two of my azeala bushes and have wrapped the roots so at least they're being careful with them........we shall see......

It's weird because sometimes I think I smell the gas at night when I return home from walking Cadbury. I guess the connector thingie is in my lawn and that's what they're checking. He showed me a piece of paper stating their right to dig in the vacinity of their pipes, all for public safety. Naturally, I asked if it has been unsafe all these months and he said no....but of course he would say that, who am I kidding? And of course I want them to stop the leak.....and who cares about Crazy neighbors's lawn.....it's MY lawn I'm worried about here! We're in the middle of azeala blossom season and I LOVE my azealas too......just wish I knew how to spell them right....
