More Good news iluvtink!

Ohana I was considering a sponsership but not at the risk of losing a tag!

I was telling DH about sponsorship. He said I should join with all the time I spend here. (I think I noted a bit of sarcasm in his voice . ) I'm not going to bash DH. I just spoke with him, and he told me he is making me crab legs for dinner. We are having a nice dinner tonight, because he is leaving for Joysee tomorrow (as in New Jersey for you southerners and midwesterners).

That reminds me, did anyone read in People how Bahston Rahb and Ambuh are still an item?

HI Deadheadbelle!!!! IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU GOT THAT PETITE LITTLE PATOOTY OF YOUR'S OUT OF BED. I'M SORRY. AM I TOO LOUD? YOU THINK YOU GOT A HEADACHE NOW? DID YOU SEE THE RATE I POSTED FOR THE POLY?

Bichon Barb - how about a tutorial in mailbox cleaning? If I put the messages that are in my inbox into other folders, does that keep the inbox clean for exciting new messages?

I have deleted a few messages, so you can re-PM me if you want. If you'd rather use me than AAA, I'd be happy to help. Just as long as you believe that I'm not an axe murderer or an identify thief.

oh, p.s. QOTD: US - never been. Don't even care if I go! I know that's stupid, but I go to Disney for the magic. I've never found magic in any other theme park in the country, and I've been to several ... even Dollywood! If I'm in Orlando, I go to WDW and stay there!

WELCOME BACK!!!

I've missed you so much. Seems longer for me cause I haven't talked to you since before my trip.

How are you feeling?

Where are you staying in Boston? We went two summers ago and stayed at the Marriott Copley Square. It was ok. Next time I would prefer to stay closer to the historic district.
Thanks, I am feeling better though still tired at times. I think it's all this coughing/hacking that's doing me in. I hate that stopped up feeling in my throat.

At the moment it looks like I'm staying on a park bench in Boston. The event is at the Seaport Hotel but it's all booked up. And even when (if) rooms do open up the rate is going to be $$$. (The CKU rate is $109/nt but since that's not available anymore it's around $229-$259/nt. OUCH!)

Bichon Barb, you can call DTA, and they can set everything up the way you want it, then you can change the ressie to your travel agent. Then, only they can deal with DTA on the ressie. This is how Dis-Savers works...if you are a member, they charge you a flat fee every time they modify the reservation, but you get the comission back...

sorry iluvtink, but I gotta tell her about Dis-savers.

Actually, because of the changing nature of this ressie, you might be better off with iluvtink as your agent. she can use the 800#

I wonder how many posts I've made today. I could be following up on quotes. I could be paying bills. But then again, why do those things now, when I could do them tomorrow, right?

QOTD: I love Universal too, favorite rides: MIB Alien Attack,Jaws,Back to the Future and just about everything

Ummm, excuse me but Nephosaurus WILL be staying with us. We don't need y'all corrupting him anymore than you already have!

OOoooo, QOTD:

Have you ever been to Universal and do you do any non Disney activities when you go to Orlando?
We've gone to US twice, stayed on property both times. It was okay but like iluvtink mentioned, the magic just isn't there. It was fun to try the roller coasters and check out the other attractions, but BEEN THERE, DONE THAT. Don't need to do it again. I do like the fact that your room key serves as an unlimited fastpass though.

Ok, I am feeling much better now.

Talked to my momma this morning, she is feeling a lot better. She even switched from Percocet to Tylenol! Someone asked about how long she suffered before being diagnosed. I think it was cadburysmom. Anyway, she was very lucky. A very good friend of ours does heart ultrasounds. My mom was having her heart checked out just for the heck of it & while her heart looked great, she also untrasounded (is that a word?) her abdomen & noticed the stones. She went to the doctor a week later & surgery a week after that. She was very lucky to have never had any pain from the stones themselves.

iluvtink, congratulations on your new job. I did that program when I worked in a travel agency a few years ago. It was fun. I never did the on-site FAM trip, but I bet it would be interesting.

Bichon Barb, I am quite aware of the POLY rates, it's llebrekniT who seems to think this is something we can afford it. Ah, to be wealthy like llebrekniT.

QOTD: I can't think of any rumors about me.

Yeah, ohanafamily doesn't need any clean socks or underwear. And dinner, well we can always go out instead of me running to the grocery store. (No food in the house now because I didn't do any shopping during Passover.) I really like your way of thinking Bichon Barb. I guess you're corrupting me, too. :rotfl: )

Thanks OF. The Swan/Dolphin rates are $239/$219. I'd be just as happy with the POFQ for $144. The reason I mentioned the Swan/Dolphin was because of my AE points. But I think you need 25,000 points for just one night.

QOTD US: Nope, never been there. We'll probably go when the kids are big enough to ride the roller coasters.

why are the on-site rates fo high for October???

That is a bit pricey IMHO..

what is POP or ALL STARS or DTD area??

Bichon Barb, Even with that discount?

It looks like they have some better rates on that link....

:bounce:

::yes:: Looks like no one is even doing AAA rates for that weekend. I'm surprised.

I'm going to check out FW for the end of August, because now I'm curious about rates for that time of year.
