My darlig ex, again, called the special crimes and drug enforcement agnecy for dealing drugs out of my townhome. I was off work one day, at 7am, still sleeping and boom boom boom on the door. **as if the other door booming wasn't enough....see previous police story** It was Jamie B****** (name concealed for identity purposes) from the SBPD DEA Unit. I knew him, he knew me. Said my place was reported for trafic. OMG, I was in shock. I said come on Jamie, this is some sort of joke, right? No, Lewski709 it isn't. I said, but you know I've reported several people and I know the deal. You scope the place for a bit, then if activity is there you check it out. Yes, but Lewski709 you know this.....and you've helped us so we know you know the normal procedure. Can we come in? Yes, of course. Come in....followed by 3 other officers. I sit, they look. Sorry Mrs. Lewski709, it must have been a prank. Uh, yeah.........you think Jamie. I apologize Lewski709, but we had to check. Have a good day! They left.
You poor thing....how awful....and what a scumbag your ex is! Do you ever hear from him? I sure hope not...he's probably in prison somewhere

Hey Lewski709, why'd you divorce that fine fella? He sounds like a dream  .....NOT!

oddball27, congrats on getting the metal removed. I bet you look great!! Does Heather have braces? How about Honey? How about Muzzy? Speaking of Muzzy, is he still mooning everyone, or did the paintball incident shut him down?

cadburysmom, I cleaned out my PM box...sorry.....pass the margarita's please. I'll have mine on-the-rocks with lotsa salt!

Last time he found me was through Classmates.com. He contacted me via email about 3.5yrs ago. That's it. He was living in FL again and mooching off another woman. He knew I was married and had a son. We talked for about 6mo's, I wanted to be civil as I was going through the anullment and he was evil. The stories I could tell you.........abuse, abuse, abuse. That's enough recap. Also, he would steal things from me, take them to a pawn shop and I would have to buy them back (if I was lucky enough to be able to get the pawn ticket from him). Constantly. Two sides to every story, but I swear on the bible all this is truth. He got some girl pregnant while we were briefly married, among other things. It was bad.

Deadheadbelle I'd still be married and miserable if not dead today had he not left and left me wondering where he was. I filed the divorce thru notification of publication. The newspaper had to publicize it in case he wanted to contest. He was a cheater, liar, thief, alcoholic and I believe into drugs. He did not contest, never wanted a thing from me. But 3.5yrs ago, he apologized for it all. I was young and stupid.

Lesson for all the young ones..........if they never treat you like a princess to begin with, they never will.

One thing...........I wouldn't be who I am today without him. I have never been in a better, more loving relationship. I wouldn't be in IN had he not convinced me moving back by my family was best. I wouldn't have met my DH without being here.....so I am thankful the idiot ruined our relationship and brought me into the one I now have. ***Note, not a recommended route kids***

metalball27 nice teeth, I'm sure. I only had braces for a year and my teeth are great. :teeth:

What's this about nakedness??? Does it involve Russell Crowe??? :hyper:

Thanks for all of the nice "welcome backs" everyone! You guys are sweet as Godiva truffles! ::yes::

I'm off to bed so as to minimize my grumpiness tomorrow. I will try to check in tomorrow after work to update you on a few things.

Night!

Welp, that margarita sure hit the spot. I'm ready for bed now. I'll catch up with you guys tomorrow.

Sweet dreams.

And once again,

WELCOME BACK HUGGABALOO!!!

We need to plan a party for tomorrow night, A welcome home party. Yes, that is it. I bet HB would like Russell Crowe as a celebrity bartender. hmmm, who else? One of those country singers, I can't remember who....hmmm, lots of planning.

Later....

The weirdest thing just happened to my computer... I got a McAfee pop up window that said it had stopped and deleted a Trojan virus, and when I pushed the "details" button, this is what it said:

File: instnotify.exe
Trojan name: Generic Backdoor.b
File Path: C:\Program Files\MemoryWatcher
Status: Deleted

Do you know what "MemoryWatcher" is and if I need it? Seems like I should delete the whole file path, unless that's what McAfee is trying to tell me it did!

I re-booted and computer was soooo slow. Then Internet Explorer wouldn't open, and I used Netscape Navigator to get back to the Island. Now the hard drive light is just going to town, blinking and flashing... do you think I need to worry?

Thanks! ILT

OHHHH!! Huggabaloo ... welcome back. You missed more than I can tell ya! How's Orlando and the new job?

Sorry For the delay. If your hard drive is " Going to Town, it may mean that you have been hit and it is doing nasty stuff as we speak!...

Status Deleted means that it got rid of the file.

The best thing I can suggest now is to torn off your computer and take it somewhere where they can diagnose and remove the virus. The longer the hard drive light is Going to town, the more data you can loose.

I looked up the info on Mcafee's website, and there is evid3ently something new out. the latest update on what it said you have was 4/15/2004. There was no further info on it. Sorry I am not much help. If you have a working computer (other than the infected one) I can walk you through it...PM Me...

I need to know the version of Windows, and what Virus Software you are running...

:bounce:

Yeah yeah, I bet he'd like Tim McGraw or Clint Black.

Lewski709 Yep, he's definitely scumbag material.....Sorry to have made you bring up such bad memories .....but thank heavens you didn't have a child by him. I'm sure it makes you appreciate your DH all the more. Wouldn't it be nice if our ex-husbands would just fall off the face of the earth. Unfortunately, I had a son by mine and have to deal with him and his "ego" constantly.....for what it's worth, we actually have a better relationship now.......but then again, if he were to get hit by a bus or meet some other "tragic" end, well, let's just say he wouldn't be missed by this chick:teeth:

Amen sista! Not bad memories, bad times and all....but it certainly makes the things I have now golden and glorious. It's really a good thing to know about these types of situations. If I had never been there, my sympathy for those that are would be a lot less. I certainly am not saying I enjoyed it and I don't mind, at all, talking about it. It was short, thank God, and it's over. I WAS LUCKY! I hear you about getting run over by a bus. I can tell you in the short time I was married, I hoped that his life would end because he was driving home drunk and ooooopps, hit a wall. Terrible to say, but there were a lot of terrible things going on back then and that would have been easiest, or I thought. Sadly and thankfully, he never wrecked because I can't tell you how many drinking accidents I have known where the one who was drunk survived and killed others. I would have been responsible (financially) too even though it wasn't me driving.

Off to bed I go.

Seriously, I didn't mind sharing this horrible situation or I wouldn't have said a word. If there is anyway I can tell others about this type of thing to prevent ruining their life, I am glad to share my story. Please note, I was not implying you needed to hear any of this. ;)

Busy week here. We have lots of company! Just wanted to wish everyone....

Oh and Bichon Barb and I are rooming together for the Oct meet. It's for sure! ::yes:: We are trying to convince iluvtink and kadaten to join us, but iluvtink is really giving us grief and kadaten, I am sure, will be discussing it with her DH on her upcoming trip.

You betcha! ::yes:: Actually, it's my DMIL I need to talk to about it...as she'll be the one to come sit with the kids since DH is travelling so much now.... but DFIL's mom and brother are right here, too, so they can turn it into a trip home, too :) And what grandparents don't want to spend a long weekend having the grands all to themselves to spoil, huh? Let's hope she goes for it ;)

Welcome back, HuggaBaloo!! I'm leaving on Friday for your neck of the woods and they were sending me out with instructions for a "search and hug" mission if you hadn't checked in before then! You've been missed ::yes:: Glad to see you back :)

Lewski709 OMG! Once again, no wonder he's an ex. Sounds a little like my not-so-wonderful home life growing up, except none of my dad's crap was drug/alcohol induced. He was just an ***! Good thing you never had kids with him. Me...I grew up *wishing* my 'rents would get divorced...it was awful to think that as a kid...thought my friends with divorced parents were the lucky ones. No wonder I married Beaver Cleaver and his whole perfect family!! They were everything I'd been missing :) Glad you found your perfect guy, too.... Ijust wish the good didn't have to come after such a yucky patch of bad, you know?

And whoever posted that WONDERFUL looking chocolate...Godiva with raspberry was it? YUMMY-LICIOUS!! Gotta get me some of that!!

OOOOO...a recent find at Sam's....
mauna%20loa.bmp

They're macadamia nuts, enrobed in toffee, then covered in Godiva milk chocolate, then dusted with a fine sprinkling of powdered sugar. OMGoodness are they good!! I've heard RickinNYC talking about chocolate covered expresso beans, was it? Well, I just can't imagine them being any better than these!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!! (I need a smiley that's licking it's lips!!) Now just gotta find somewhere besides the website to get these on a regular basis....they are addictive!!

Morning all, I'm up early as DH had to be in work early today so I thought I might as well get up too.
I'll leave you with another school story that I hinted at last night.
We had 2 student teachers training at our school for a few months (one of them now works for us so it can't have been that bad!) Anyway, one lesson one of the teachers got into an argument with one of the 10 year old boys who we all know not to attempt to argue with (he could try to convince you that black is white!!) So this boy is well known for not coping with arguments so he walked out of the classroom. The other student teacher said she would go follow him along with another member of staff to calm him down. Anyway he decided to climb in to one of the big rubbish bins in the playground (not sure why!) but as he put the lid on the bin tipped over causing the lid to get stuck. The problem was though the playground is on a slope and the bin was round!!! So, yes he rolled down the playground in the bin!!! All you coud hear was this voice yelling from inside "Stop laughing it's not funny!!" They managed to stop him (and stop laughing!) and got him out where he was taken straight to the head teacher!

Oh well, I'm off for another fun filled day, have a good day everyone.

I have put some breakfast muffins and juice on the table on the way out.

I'll offer some good DBF moments:

last night we must have talked for hours via both IM and the trusy phone. He knows I'm not the type to enjoy anything that screams flooding so he kept me talking till the storm passed.I do feel lucky that I found one of the good guys

QOTD: know of a good battery for cell phones? DBF's keeps going dead
