Morning, everyone!

Hi, Smileybug!

Sadiedog, you just seem to be cursed with any electrical appliance. Perhaps we need to bow to the technology gods for you. :worship::worship::worship:

Thank you. Maybe that will work. Apparently I need all the help I can get. :rotfl2:

I miss popcorn. My microwave can't handle popping it and I can't make it on the stove b/c the large burners keep going out. I used to have an air popper. My brother borrowed it and when he bought the house near me and moved last May, he accidently threw it out. I've decided to splurge and buy myself a $20 air popper. I don't normally buy unnecessary things and rarely buy something for myself. Therefore, I'm going to try not to feel too guilty about it. Now if only I could stop thinking how it could be $20 put away towards my daughers laptop. :confused3

You should feel good about buying the air popper: it's the healthiest way to make popcorn! You can certainly add all the butter and salt you want, but at least you don't have to cook the popcorn in oil. And it's way better for you than the microwave stuff!

(that's my plug to help you justify spending the money on it!);)

Aw, hon. Do you eat a lot of popcorn? I know we do. We'll make it, and leave out, because it doesn't stale that quickly and it's a great quick snack for all of us.

Let me justify the $20 for you. You deserve a popcorn maker! :goodvibes

Thanks guys. I feel better about buying it.

I rarely have popcorn b/c I can't make it, but I love it. Once I pay for the popper, it is an inexpesive healthy snack. Mmmmmmm looking forward to getting it.

...nahhhh, it's just the Tag Fairies wreaking havoc on her 'puter...;)

Hey ya'll. What's going on? Anyone watching the NCAA games? I'm watching the Michigan State / Louisville game right now. Good stuff!

/
I'm taking a packing/loading break.....

I'm about to scream.....:headache:

While I was under the impression that the help that came today was here to deal with a few specific over-size items, apparently the idea was to fully load the truck.

Two of my kids' dressers have been loaded. Still full of clothes. And I haven't packed for the week yet....

Yeah....

MIL is also here, and tense because we're leaving, of course, so I'm not "allowed" to show any negative emotion or stress at all, because, as we all know, that would be wrong.:confused3

Umm....

I just want to be left alone to clean my house and pack my last few boxes in peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.

...personally, I think UNC is taking the WHOLE ENCHILADA.....

As a Duke gal, I shudder at the thought. :rotfl:

Did I ever tell ya'll I applied to and got denied by Duke?!? I have, however, been a fan of Duke basketball my entire life. . .Which reminds me, I need a Duke baseball cap for my Disney trip. . .

Plus, isn't it cheaper to buy and pop your own rather than the microwave bags?

What ya'll are getting at is in the long run, it will save her money. . . :rolleyes1

This is all similar to fuzzy Disney math, isn't it?

My Disney math is much more fuzzy, since I'm practically blinded by pixie dust.

Anyone else watch the cake Challenges on Food Network? I love the Disney cake ones. The one on now is tag team, where they don't know who their partner is.

I'm sure everytime you plan, it's like, "Well, since we're DVC, it's free!" (Forget about that DVC installment payment, huh?) :rotfl2:

And the cost of food, whether buying there or at the grocery store. Souvenirs. Gas. But if I compare it to what I'd have to spend if I had to go as far as most of you, it helps make it look more like a deal.

:rotfl2: That's how I see a trip to Myrtle Beach--no cost. Just a day trip with no strings. . .:rolleyes1

....yes - also, did you watch the Disney weddings on TV last week??

No. I'd have the urge to renew my vows there once again. DH says I have to wait until our 25th. :sad1: We're only at 12 this June.
