Really or are you joking? I have put on Mister Rogers a few times with friends. For some reason, we about fell on the floor laughing. I don't know what Lazytown or The Imagination Movers are. I guess I'm too old and my kids are not the right ages.

Lazytown is a very odd Swedish import about a town of lazy freaky looking puppets who start getting active when a real girl with pink hair moves in.

Imagination Movers is a new Disney show about a group of musicians who solve "idea emergencies" with creative thinking. Both my girls like both of those shows and they are 7 years apart.

Another good Gabba Gabba song, "There's a Party in my Tummy" (so yummy, so yummy. Do the carrots want to go to the party in my tummy?)

Imagination Movers sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind checking it out. Lazytown does sound kind of freaky, but I'm not sure if that's a good freaky or bad. :rotfl2:

I would like to see Kermit on Seasame Street. He is the cutest thing.

Lazytown is on the odder side, but I Love Sportacus, (mostly because he's really good looking...ahem ;) ) I know all the songs by heart, I even almost broke my ankle trying to do the dance to "I Can't Move" Long story... :sad2:

The Imangination Movers are my current fav though, especially since they're from my hometown which is AWESOME! Plus my best friend likes them just as much as I do, so we'll bust out singing a song from them and everyone's wondering, "what is their problem?!"

Don't you just love friends you can be silly with and not care what anyone else thinks? They're the best.

Yeah. She's perfect for that, since she's the only person I know who's crazier than I am!

Good morning everyone. I'm off to work at daycare this morning.

Hello all! Does anyone know about Seasonal Affective Disorder? I'm starting to think my oldest suffers from that. Every year at this time, she starts acting nuts. We just had a cold snap and she seems to have snapped emotionally. She's always over emotional, but extremely so right now. :crazy2: She has been diagnosed ADD with a severe anxiety disorder which leads to obsessive compulsive behavior (not so far as a disorder, no Howie Mandel here.) But since I notice it seems to get worse at certain times, I was wondering if it could be SAD.

BTW - People around my work keep saying they heard it might snow over night in our area. :scared: The high was 50 today. Though it'll be up to 70 by Saturday (so don't you worry LegoMom, pack some shorts.)

Hey Mean Queen. :wave2: I'm sorry your little one is having a tough time right now. I've heard of SAD but have had no experience with it. I hope things get better for her soon.:flower3:

I hope ya'll do get some snow flurries. At least enough for your DD's to enjoy seeing it. But not so much to cause any damage around there.

I believe this happens with all children. And our referrals in schools prove it. Any time the temperature changes 10 degrees either way, we see a spike in referrals at school. This slows down when the weather levels off.

I get it, but it's funny because it never occured to me as being something that happened in warm climates! But you guys don't have any more daylight than we do up here, so it certainly could be a factor (I believe it's mostly triggered by the shorter days). Up here, the extra darkness of the winter months combined with the cold temps more or less keeping me indoors really get to me. I can be really depressed for "no apparent reason." DH kids me about needing to spend the winter planning a Disney trip to keep my mental health, but honestly he's right! The years that I am planning a trip, I do much better. My kids don't seem to have it so I'm not sure how it affects children.

Good grief what's going on down there??!!....:rotfl: My dad's wife must be wearing her long-johns and ear muffs. Seriously she's freezing cold when it drops to 55! I don't think I'll be packing shorts....Northerners in winter are NOT a pretty sight.:crazy2:

:lmao:

I am looking forward to being able to go out for a walk without freezing my lungs, though!! Just some warm sunshine on my face will be sooooo nice. We're supposed to have a high of 15 here on Monday when I get back.....BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

You are the first person outside of my school district that I have ever heard use the term "referrals!" Fortunately my kids don't get those...much.;)

You will get some nice warm sunshine. What time do you get up? I can meet you at Starbucks any time in the morning. :coffee: I have no plans.

LegoMom and Mean Queen, I hope everything works out for your Dis meet.:goodvibes

I'll be up pretty early so let's do plan a morning Starbucks meet!

Which reminds me, is the Target where that is - is that where there was once a mall with an ice skating rink?? If it is then I know exactly where it is. My dad lives just up Rt. 19 and as I said, I'll be just up the road near the park.
