You are the first person outside of my school district that I have ever heard use the term "referrals!" Fortunately my kids don't get those...much.

Which reminds me, is the Target where that is - is that where there was once a mall with an ice skating rink?? If it is then I know exactly where it is. My dad lives just up Rt. 19 and as I said, I'll be just up the road near the park.

That's the place. I have a friend who is still heart broken about the loss of the ice rink. Though I love the better movie theater, Target, and Starbucks of course. I am not a big early riser. I sleep until about 8:30 on weekends. So I could meet you by 9:30? It'd be about a 20 minute drive with traffic for both of us.

BTW - Lake Seminole Park is where I was chased by a gator as a kid. I got too close and a mama gator got mad. She gave up when she scared me far enough away. Plus, an older neighbor boy grabbed me up and took off running. I now keep a healthy distance from lakes and alligators.

It does stay light longer in Florida. When I am on the phone with someone in FL, they mention the sun still out when it's already dark here. Seasonal Blues can be pretty bad for some people living with winter and more darkness.

I'm cold and tired. I think I will go watch TV in bed.

Basically it's when a kid gets in trouble and has to see the principal and/or gets "points" against them in terms of behavior. Not good.

The sun stays out longer in FL because they are more west, but it also rises in the morning later than here, too. Overall, though, the hours of daylight are the same.

And there are not enough between November and March!!!!!

9:30 would be fine. I have to be up at 4:00am on Friday so by Friday night I'll be ready for a good long night's sleep anyway!! I'll have my dad's truck so I'm on my own schedule. I'll PM you my cell phone number before tomorrow night!

The new baby at daycare is 2 1/5 mos. She is adorable and it's so nice to hold a little baby. The only babies my husband will allow now are the 4 legged kind.

I'm glad the calendar is working for you. I'm doing good. Bored, but good. I have plenty to do. But don't want to do it. I guess its one of those out of sorts kind of days. Seems like we have been chasing each other all over the Dis. If you are still searching for smilies. Just google smilies and all kinds of things turn up. Some have their own img code but most you have to "save to" photobucket or something like it. I hope I just made since. After all I am today.

I just started a month ago helping at a daycare 3 hours on Wednesday mornings. Then she got a new baby and needs me more mornings. When I was leaving today, she asked if I could come tomorrow 8-11am too.

I don't think I should bring anymore 4 legged babies in my house anytime soon. 2 cats and 2 buicks are more than I can afford now. The teenagers aren't too cheap either.
