I am so addicted to Mario Kart!! I got it for Christmas and I can't stop playing it!! I even went and got a second remote and wheel for the purpose of multiplayer, my family and I have so much fun with it!

(Oh and btw, I can kick a little boody on there too! hehe!)

We got Raving Rabbids TV Party for Christmas, so we've been playing that. You can use the Wii fit balance board with it. DD9 loves saying "It's the first video game you can play with your butt" like in the commercials. Though it's actually much harder to play that way than without the balance board. We have 3 wheels for Mario Kart.

Snowing here but it should stop around noon. The moon has been so bright and beautiful. I had to check outside to see if we left an outside light on. The moon glistens off the snow and you see shadows of the trees. It's gorgeous.

Afternoon all. DD & I went to the PA Farm Show yesterday. If it grown or made in PA, it'll be there. We were supposed to get about 6 inches of snow yesterday. It ended up being a dusting.

afternoon everyone I am finally getting a bedroom door today congratulate me! :cool1:

Okay, Ladies, you all have to keep me honest. . .I have to tell you a little history, though. In 2007 after my trip to WDW, I had ballooned up to almost 200 pounds. This is not good for a person with acid reflux, a small frame (think my ring size--4.5), and short. So, a friend joined Nutrisystem and lost a whole bunch of weight. I decided I'd try it.

I lost 50 pounds on Nutrisystem in 6 months. I kept the weight off for the most part until just before our 2008 trip to Disney World. When we got back, I joined Weight Watchers. I should have known it was not going to help. It never did. I gained an additional 2 pounds on WW. The situation is now getting desparate. I am almost up to 170 pounds again and today I ordered Nutrisystem food again.

Keep asking me how NS is doing, okay? I have to lose this weight. This is a serious health issue for me. Unchecked weight gain and acid reflux disease were the causes of my mother's death in 2002. I have to lose this weight. There is no other option.

As a "sort of" punishment to myself for this weight gain, we are not going to Disney World again until I meet my weight loss goal. This seems cruel, but this is the way I lost the weight before. Besides, the additional costs for the Nutrisystem food would pull from that frivolous sccount, anyway, making going to Disney a non-issue.

Just keep me honest. I have almost 35 pounds to lose. When I hit the halfway mark, I'll start looking at potential dates for the next trip, but our next Disney trip will be no sooner than 10 months after I hit my weight loss goal. It sounds cruel, but it's the only way to do it. My health has to come before Disney.

Good luck! I had luck with WW in the past, but I haven't been motivated enough the last two times I tried it. I thought about trying Nutrisystem, but I know it's expensive. Let me know how the food is, what your favorites are, and how it changes how you cook for the rest of the family. I'll make sure to keep asking questions like this to help keep you on track.

We just got back from the circus. It was so fun! My DD2 just kept smiling, pointing and hugging me. She really enjoyed the elephants and the clowns. Before the show, they let you go down on the arena floor. They had circus wardrobe you could try on, clowns teaching you to walk a tight rope or slapstick, and stiltwalkers. It got a big crowded, so DD9 didn't get to try the tight rope or standing on a ball. I did realize a day at the circus is just about as expensive as a day at WDW. Popcorn was $7, cotton candy with a hat was $12, and those light up toys were $20. :scared1: We managed to avoid a lot of the stuff, but not everything. We still came out with empty pockets. :sad2: But it was worth it. Both girls loved it. I felt like a kid too.

:lmao: No, no monkeys. Some of the clowns were just people in bright hip-hop clothes or a fairy outfit. :confused3 They seem to be getting away from the Bozo look.

That sounds great cause those Bozo-types freak me out man!

I thought Sundays were clown free?!?!?

Well, I do have some good news. . .I went through my cabinet of Nutrisystem food and I have 1 month's supply already in the cabinet! So, we are still gonna plan a trip, but no deposit until I've lost 5 pounds. I have to count my calories, but I can promise I will lose this weight again.

We are looking at Dec 29-Jan 2 for our next trip. I know, crazy busy time, but Sweetie can't miss any more school. I'll probably visit my grandmother from the 26th until the 29th and then drive on down to Fla.

You lucked out with the snow. We were expecting 6-10 but ended up with about 2. Yay! :thumbsup2

Sounds like good incentive. I understand how difficult it is to lose weight so whatever we can do to help. :thumbsup2

I hope the best for you. I understand diabetes to be easy to manage, but it takes a good deal of work!
