I'm waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Fed Ex has said my laptop is out for delivery since 7 a.m. this morning. I sure hope it didn't show up the few times I left the house and they didn't leave me a note. So, I'm here, waiting. Impatiently.

Do you have it yet? We have something in common (kind of) I bought a new computer today. I have been shopping for the best deal for what I want for three days. I can't wait to play TheSims2 with this 20" widescreen monitor! I just have to finish getting everything else set up on the computer. Like moving files and such.

Where has everyone been the past couple of days? It looks like it's been quiet around here. . .

and 320 gb hard drive,
I know I have the best
Dell XPS alive (that I can afford)

I just hope the next time
I'm in the living room,

I already heard it from DH about spending an extra $25 to get a pink computer. I told him since I got upgraded from 3 to 4 gb of ram for free, I had no problem spending the extra.

It is! Flamingo Pink! Dell has some great choices for laptop designs. The XPS is the gaming laptop and it has the least amount of design choices. But I was still happy to get a pink one.

Hello all. My Friday night was bittersweet. Me and hubby went to a Japanese restaurant where they prepare the food table side. That was the sweet part of the evening. The bitter part came when I was supposed to get together with a friend from work at a jazz club and she canceled at the last minute. She did the same thing last weekend. Not much of a friend, huh? I understand things come up but I can't stand it when people flake out on plans. I'm not inviting her out anymore and if she invites me I will decline. DH said I shouldn't be so bitter but I can't help it. I actually took the time to put on makeup then she canceled at the last minute. Grr!!!

Talking about pink stuff....my mom bought my sister a pink hairdryer today...(and bed sheets, and a shoe rack and a purse)...and I got a black and silver 1/2 an inch curling iron. sorry just had to throw that in there

That stinks. Two strikes and you're out! I'm having "friend" issues myself so I can sympathize!

I hate when people do that. It shows that they don't think enough of you or your time. I don't blame you for being upset. At least you had a nice dinner with hubby. I love Japanese food.
