Tagless & Formerly Tagless...Home of the Dancing Babnanas

Back from Vero! It was beautiful there. The 3-bedroom cotttage is right on the beach. But you can't walk out of the porch onto the beach because of the sand dunes. Luckily, we were near the access ramp and the pool. The weather was nice Friday night and Saturday. We spent hours at night sitting on the porch, watching the huge waves of the ocean, and enjoying the ocean breeze (which was much stronger than a breeze normally is.) Unfortunately, today it rained. So no pool or beach before we had to leave. I'll have to post pictures later. DH says he now knows what he wants when we retire, a 2-story house right on a quiet beach.

You all kept busy posting over the weekend.

Sadiedog - can't you take your Buicks through a car wash? ;)

LegoMom - Happy Almost Birthday to your DS. I hope he's not too hyped up on sugar. For some reason, my DD is the same with or without sugar... crazed and hyper.

All of you keep talking about cold weather. We'll have highs in mid-80's and lows in the 70's. Welcome to Fall in Florida.

Seewhatimesdone - I love the litte candy corn graphic in your siggie!! :thumbsup2

.

XD Evil, yet, strangely fair... :rotfl:

I agree with your idea, though. Are you going to be in WDW the same time as me?

Legomom, I always hated unsolicited advice and over-indulgences from grandparents. Sometimes I thought dh's mom did it on purpose.

Welcome back, Mean Queen! Hope you had fun!

Sadiedog, looks like you've had a busy weekend!

Thanks! XD I was like oh my God, that Candy corn is dancing...I MUST HAVE IT! :rotfl:

Yes I am! Are you dressing up for MNSSHP?

And you guys can call me Anna if you'd like :)

I'll be missing you all by a week. I'm going to the MNSSHP on the 16th. I need to find my Mouseketeer outfit from last year. Yes, we're being eco and recycling. :rolleyes1

As I told you in your PTR, my dh LOVES candy corn. Absolutely! I love that dancing candy corn as well, and can see how the dancing candy corn should take the place of our dancing babnanas for the month of October.

No dress up Anna. Sorry :confused3 (Although I seriously considered the Babnana costume in Walmart last week) I am wearing a Corpse Bride t-shirt and am right now reading the Twilight series, Harry Potter series, and The Historian to gear me up for Halloween! My kids are dressing up, though.

This year I did not feel bad about spending a little money for costumes since the kids will be wearing them to MNSSHP and then again to trick or treat on Nov 1. (We reschedule Halloween for high school football).

DS is going into his 3rd year as a pirate. I finally broke down and got the whole POC outfit for him. My luck he won't want to do it again after this year. :rotfl:

I don't blame you for recycling. I still may get the Babnana costume. . .

Nothing wrong with recycling costumes! No one will ever know but you XD

Oh how I wish Candy Corn Acres was real. I would slip into a sweet, sweet, candy corn coma. I'm not really sure whether i'm going to dress up right now or not. I was thinking about being Wednesday Addams or something  but i'll probably just end up wearing my vampire fangs or something simple. I'd rather be comfortable that night anyways. And I seriously love me some Harry Potter and Twilight, although I haven't heard of the Historian

The Historian is a vampire book, but more sinister than the "vegetarians" in Twilight. Of course, I'm not reading them all at the same time, but just finished the Twilight series (including the Edward edition on the web), and will be starting HPPS/SS tonight. It'll be my 3rd or 4th complete read of the series.

What is this Edward edition that you speak of?!

You should read the Sookie Stackhouse novels. The HBO series "True Blood" is based on them. I read the first book in a day. Now I need to find the 2, 3, &4th. DH found the last two, but not those. I am also a Twilight and Potter fan. :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh thank you so much! You totally just made my day

It is awesome, it's Twilight from the eyes of Edward.

Mean Queen, I'll have to check out those books. I was going to rent the first episode of First Blood from Blockbuster Friday night, but opted for Maid of Honor. (I so love Patrick Dempsey :lovestruc )

There's always next week when I trade in my Blockbuster Online movies.

I've heard that those books are great. I saw the first episode and I really liked it. Thanks for reminding me to read the books!

Those books sound interesting. I need something a little different than my daughter's Gossip Girls books.

:rotfl2: Take my Buicks through the car wash. :rotfl2: Now why didn't I think of that?
Mean Queen, sounds like you have a nice weekend. Pictures would be nice.

The books are no where near as Skinemax as the HBO series, but it's still good and steamy.

Anna, I love your Headless Horseman.

Thanks! He's nowhere as good looking as Johnny Depp though XD

Yeah I definately noticed how racey it was. My sociology teacher loves the show and she's like 60! It cracks me up.

This is totally random but i'm watching Goosebumps to get in a Halloweeny mood (excuse my excessive use of that word). Did anyone ever read those books when they were kids?
