Tagless & Formerly Tagless...Home of the Dancing Babnanas

The weather did get better today. I even saw the sun.

MomsOf2boys, did I get any new tags you ask? Ummmm, that would be a NO.

I just got back from my brothers down the road. It's his 45th b-day. Now I'm home and ready to relax with some TV.

My daughter got her license today.:scared1: Now she is at work so she can pay for her insurance.

:scared: and  all at the same time.

I can't believe how fast we've gotten in such a short time. We are a gabby bunch, aren't we?

Yes! You are a hard bunch to leave for a week and not just because I missed chatting with you. I can barely keep up.

Good morning. I'm so happy to be home. My boss makes me so angry sometimes. :headache: She's a coward and as a result makes decisions out of fear. I'm so tired of it. Alright ... rant over.

Sorry your boss is still such a pain in the rear. But Vegas is coming soon!

Hi tinkerbellarella!! You know...there is this little voice in my head that keeps telling me that I really want another kitten. And you aren't helping matters at all. Those babies are so sweet!!

I agree! I keep seeing kittens and thinking I want another one. I just realized my "kittens" turn six this month. We got them 3 days after my DD's 3rd birthday. She turns 9 on the 11th. :sad1:

So as you can see, I'm back from our week long vacation. It was good and bad. Good to spend time with friends, eat some good food, relax at the pool, read the entire "Twilight" series (minus the book that comes out tomorrow), and check out Blizzard Beach. Bad to spend a bit too much time with a certain friends DH (not dear) and DS (as in destructive), sleep on very hard beds at a non-Disney resort, have no internet, and spend way too much on nasty Indian food. Also, nothing brings out my DD's brattiness like watching her friend get everything she asks for. Instead of being happy for all the stuff we had bought her (and realize our other friends 3 DD's got MUCH less), she whined about what she didn't get. So, she didn't get anything. Overall, it was still a nice vacation but I think next time we'll do it on Disney property (even if we don't plan on hitting the parks) and spend a shorter time together. 13 people in one small place can be a bit much.

Well, if it means you get to stay and DIS a little longer, I'll be happy to ship you some of my laundry! :rotfl:

Good morning to all and happy Friday!

See that little guy down there at the bottom? THAT is how I'm feeling this morning!

Aw. . .they look like my kitty. Ironically, his name is Tiger.

MeanQueen, I have to agree. 13 people in a small place can be hectic. The people would all need to be pleasant, considerate, easy going and easy to get along with for it to work. Just the fact that I am such a light sleeper would make it difficult for me.

Oh and I wouldn't indulge my kids if they were whining either. Of course they rarely received anything just for the heck of it so whining about getting something out of the blue didn't really happen. They got stuff for b-days, Xmas and a little something for Easter and pretty much nothing in between. :rotfl2: I have never had Indian food.

WOOHOO!!!   I love the new thread title!!   After all we are a babnanalious crowd...that has been seusified of course. I think I'm blending two threads with that. But oh well.

Hey, ya'll! What are we talking about this weekend?

Whatever you want to talk about.

I agree with SadieDog on staying with 13 people for a week would be tough for me too. I'm all for togetherness. But in small doses. :rotfl:

Hi babnanalious pee-ple!!!!!!!

I'm not sure what that means, Smiley, but it's a fun word! :rotfl2:

Just got back from a marathon trip out to NY and back to pick up DS11 from camp. Not a moment too soon, either, as we have thunder storms rolling in right now.

Gotta go find some dinner. I'll try to come post later!

Did he have a good time?

I can't blieve all the bad weather ya'll are getting LegoMom and SadieDag. Ya'll don't have any kind of concerns about flooding do you?

LegoMom...If you don't have it yet I found a thread here on the Dis that list every snack and where it is that you are able to use your snack credits on. I'll be taking this list with me on our trip.

All I know is those yummy specialty caramel apples at Goofy's Candy Shoppe aren't included. :sad2: I had one for dessert then breakfast the following day. The rest of the specialty make your own desserts are on the plan (I think.) The gingerbread Mickey's were so cute!

Sadiedog, yes, he had a wonderful time! This is his 2nd year going and he's already talking about next year, the next, etc.!

SmileyBug, no, we have no flood warnings around here. We're not getting a lot of all-day, steady rain, just this annoying every-afternoon round of thunderstorms. It's not unlike what my dad says he gets in FL, but these last quite a while instead of just 5 minutes!

.

okay LegoMom let me figure out how to get you to that thread.
