Good Sunday morning ,guys! Sorry I totally bailedon all of you yesterday--we had terrible storms and the power just came back on an hour ago. There goes church this morning. . .

UGH, it's raining again. There were flood warnings in other parts of Maine this week, but not near me. Sick of rain.

The weather did get better today. I even saw the sun.

MomsOf2boys, did I get any new tags you ask? Ummmm, that would be a NO.

I just got back from my brothers down the road. It's his 45th b-day. Now I'm home and ready to relax with some TV.

Ohhhhh noooo... I thought for sure there would be new tags whilist I was away.

Good morning...

Well someone up the street decided that 7:45am on a Sunday morning was a good time to fire up some power tools......:headache: I don't know what it is but it sounds like one of those tree grinders that they use when road crews are trimming branches. I know it's not the town or a tree company so it's some bozo in his yard/garage. Could be a planer, or a belt sander, or maybe one of those chipper/shredders.

Hey, there's a new Sunday morning game!....Name That Obnoxious Noise!!

Anyway! SmileyBug - thanks for that link!! Gotta check it out here in a bit.

What's everyone up to today? Not much here. We were planning on church but DH and DS11 are just exhausted so I'm not going to wake them up. We can have a little family time when everyone's up, before we start our day. DH is going to a Jethro Tull concert tonight with his brother so it'll be a late one for him! I don't plan to do too much. I really do need to get on the home school stuff, though... See what I have, list out what I need, make a budget. I wish, time-wise, that I was already done with work! But at the same time, I need those paychecks this month to buy the stuff I need!

.

This is a shout out for Tinkerbellarella!

Tink, I have no idea which thread we were originally discussing this in (I'm on the verge of losing track of all my threads and it's only a matter of time before I start referencing stuff on one that belongs on another...!)..... ANYWHO! I have sad news....

NOcutemulticoloredbag....

:sad2:

Alas, they were all gone.

There were some other colors/patterns, but none that appealed to me enough to buy it.

Like the other one.:sad1:

At least now it has a home, but not with me.

But, in the future, I don't think I'll be blowing by the Woman's Accessories section quite so fast!

:rotfl:

There should be some written guideline that you do not do any loud work any earlier than 9 a.m. on the weekend. I always tell DH not to do the lawn until after then.

I'm going to run to the art store to get some stuff for DD's birthday party next weekend. I plan to use some foam to stuff the Blow Pops and Tootsie Roll pops in, rather than just throw them in the sand pail. I also need to get letter stickers to decorate the pails for each kid. I'm trying to find candy necklaces and a big bucket of bubble gum. Target and CVS didn't have those.

Our Dollar Tree used to have candy necklaces.

UGH, I hate when people start power tools early weekend mornings. I know chainsaws are pretty loud. I've heard that way too early before.

My husband has seen Jethro Tull years ago. Hope they have a good time.

My son got his 8th grade supply list in the mail yesterday. Says he needs a scientific calculator. Hope those are not expensive or he will have to wait till October. He needs a pen drive too.

I'll have to find one near me. I knew I should have ordered these from Oriental Trading Company a while ago. I just didn't need a whole bunch and I thought I'd find some for a good price at a store.

SadieDog...How are your dogs holding up?[/CENTER]

It was cloudy all day yesterday but only sprinkled a few times so I was able to walk the dogs. They also were able to play outside. Now they have pretty muddy paws and are on the entryway. I have to go wipe their paws and let them in. Going to be a long day if it doesn't clear up and they can't get out. My husband got the tile down Friday and he may grout today. Of course the tile is now covered in mud so I need to wipe that up too. Cream tile is not the best for an entry with 8 giant dog paws. It does have tan swirls, but still a lot of cream. Can't complain since the tile was free though.

We brought a bag to Goodwill yesterday and I picked up 2 stuffed animals for the dogs. They were proud as can be to have new toys. Maybe if they are stuck inside today, they will occupy themselves by ripping all the stuffing out. Stupid rain.

My Magical Express luggage tags came this weekend!!!

I keep seeing tags by people's names, but I don't understand how people get tags. Can somebody please explain this to me?

People get tags when they least expect them, from the Tag Fairy! You can't tag yourself (well, you can put text under your name but it won't be in color...only the Tag Fairy can do it in color!). And tags are usually pulled from something silly or dumb or embarrassing that you said. So, all one can do is wait to be tagged!

.

Ah, ok. I guess I shall have to wait patiently.

Ahem... some of us are waiting more patiently than others... I have been waiting a long time... so long in fact that if I hadn't shaved my legs, I could probably have been able to braid them by now. lolol
