Well, it was lonely in here all by myself.

How was your day?

Pretty good. After teaching today, I had to helpbalance the special ed budget. I am not going to popular. In order to balance the budget, we had to cut supplies by 3/4.

That had to hurt. It's sad when our children do not have what they need in school. I'm sorry you had to be a part of that.

Yeah, but we'd rather cut supplies than have overcrowded classrooms and fire people.

Hey! Aren't you the anti-monkey lady?

I'm getting ready to take DD to gymnastics. I'm taking a break from her naked potty training for the day. Yesterday didn't go so well. She went once in the potty seat, once on my Mickey chair, and once on one of her books (luckily a foam wash off one.) The good thing was she knew when she went, "Mommy, I pee peed on the Mickey chair!"

Good morning, ladies. Have any of you ever had to shop for a non underwire bra? It's so frustrating!!! It seems like 85-90 percent have underwires. The other 10-15% I can't find in size. Grrr! I've been wearing a surgical and sports bras since surgery. Now that Vegas is around the corner I've got to get the real deal. I'm starting to panic I won't find any before we leave. I could wait 'til we get there but there's no guarantee I will find them with ease. I would feel a lot better knowing I have what I need before we go. Any suggestions? The only thing I haven't tried is searching online ... but I'm afraid it won't get here on time. We leave Sunday but spending the night in Indy Saturday night so I would need them here by Saturday early afternoon.

Is non underwire your preference? Because with your new figure, you may need underwire. Gees, even my sports bras have underwire in them. I just think once you get to a certain size, it's standard in most bras. Bare Necessities is a great site to get bras from, but I'm not sure if shipping would get to you in time. I'd recommend you go to a nice department store and find someone to help you. Plus, get a fitting. This way you know you are wearing the correct size and have someone who can find you a non-underwire.

Thanks Mean Queen. I will check out Bare Necessities. At least it's a start. I've been fitted even though my doctor discouraged it cause I'm still changing. He says I won't know my true size until 10-12 weeks out. But I wanted to get fitted anyway cause I knew I would need bras for the trip. The problem is my band size is small but my cup size is big.:rolleyes
Because I had a full anchor lift which includes an incision in the crease, I'm not allowed to wear underwire. Well, I can't say I'm not allowed to, I just can't cause more than likely it would hurt. I've been to all the major dept. stores and Victoria's Secret. I just looked at VS online and they have twelve styles in wireless. So far though, no cup larger than a C. Somehow I had it in my head that after my surgery shopping for bras would be fun.

Mean Queen...DO probably can't wear them now. I had reduction surgery serveral years ago. I'm not supposed to wear them either. I waited until a year after surgery before trying to wear them. and they hurt. I'm pretty much in your same boat DO. I haven't found anything that is ...everything you were hoping for that isn't underwire. I have even tried buying cheaper underwire bras and taking the underwire out. It doesn't work. I haven't shopped on line because I'm really pickey about the fit. I think its just a shame that you have these surguries with visions of new figures and all of the beautiful sexy undies that you are going to buy. And guess what...nothing works for you. I don't know about DO but my doctor did not tell me that I could not wear underwire after surgery. DO if you find a solution please let me know.
