I'm not packed yet which is so unusual for me. I don't even have all my "outfits" together. Haven't even pulled the suitcases out of storage yet. Again, very unlike me.

We are flying Northwest and I read on their site the other day they charge $15 each way for the first checked bag. That's ridiculous!! However, the fee is for passengers who booked after 7/10 and we booked in June. I can't believe they charge for the first piece. I know they are trying to encourage folks to take carry-on only, but there is no way I could make it in Vegas for a week with a small carry on.

That is just ridiculous! So if you have 2 checked bags, that's an additional 30 bucks? I'd be frustrated, too! You can't go to Vegas with only a carryon unless you are a small, small kid.

Ok, creativeamanda....here's the scoop on that tag, weird though it is.

There was a thread some time back where the OP was relaying something they had seen or read, and you were supposed to see if you could do it. It had something to do with tapping a foot or some such thing (think pat your head/rub your tummy type of thing), and then you tried to draw a "6" in the air with the other hand and supposedly most people can't do it.

Well, I could technically do it, but the "6" kept coming out backwards!! Meaning when I attempted to draw a 6 in the air with my hand, it kept making a backwards 6! Apparently, too, I was the only one to whom this happened....

So I'm either gifted...or odd.

I'll take "Odd Hand Movements" for $1,000 please, Alex!

I would have been happy to have any of you join me, but I doubt you would have wanted to. While all of you are enjoying nice cool fall temperatures, it was very hot and muggy today. Though Epcot was not packed at all. We managed to get last minute lunch reservations at the Princess storybook meal at Norway. I loved the food, DH didn't. DD was okay with the food but both loved the Princesses. I'll post pictures later. The lines for the F&WF foods were pretty short, but we ate so much at Norway, we didn't try anything today. Though I am very much looking forward to checking out the boxty at Ireland again this year (with the frozen Irish Coffee), the sushi at Japan, and the beef medallions at San Francisco. Louisiana looked fun, we stopped for a bit of zydeco but it was too hot.

We also went to the Character spot and waited just 15 minutes to see Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy. Goofy told me I looked just like Snow White on my pin. At least, I hope that's why he touched my pin on my lanyard then pointed to me. My little one was a bit shy, but not scared this time. She even high fived a few by the end.

As a birthday request, my DD9 took a big sip of Beverly for me to take a picture.

I got a new camera for my birthday, so I have plenty of pictures and video to upload. But first, I'm going to go take a nice cool bath to get rid of all the sweat from such a humid day.

DW and I just got back! we just figured we would sweat through the clothing, so we planned on doing laundry half way through the stay. that way we didn't have to pack as much!

True, you are a Florida girl stuck in the North.

I will post pictures later. I'm just trying to decide if I want to load the software that came with my new camera or not. I have to check if it has any special photo editing stuff. If not, there's no need for it.
