so - im thinking i will write my very first TR but im not exactly sure where to start... so be patient with me and i will get it written... eventually

on another note; i went out with some friends last night and we saw How To Train Your Dragon. only 3 out of the 8 had ever seen it, i not being one of them...

THAT MOVIE WAS SOOOO FLIPPIN AWESOME!!! omg i am in LOVEEEE with that movie! i leaned over to my friend Anthony multiple times and said, "you need to buy me a dragon!"

Just popping in for a brief hello. We spent the morning at Animal Kingdom and are resting before dinner in Downtown Disney. Tomorrow am we go to the Orange County Convention Center. DH's brother-in-law is receiving an award for service to the military there tomorrow. We're having an awesome time--last night, though, I spent forever doing laundry because my husband decided instead of brining a change of clothes for Jeff's ceremony tomorrow, he'd wear what he wore to school on the last day.

guffaw... so i post this on the 16th hoping that since school was almost out i would be able to join in a bit more...

and wham! now it's the 31st and look how much i've missed!!

so i shall now (partially) fill you all in;

On Wednesday and Thursday (19th & 20th) were our final tests, both a half day of school. Graduation (not that i graduated) was on the 23rd. My best friend's grad party was on the 22nd but i told her i would not be able to go b/c i had to go to a wedding in Omaha. Or so i thought...

My mom had been telling me that we would get up on the 21st (Friday) and drive down there really early to be there when the zoo opens. Ok, fine with me. So i go the bed on Thursday and she asks me if i still want to get up in the morning, that she is fine with not going to the zoo. I told her i wanted to and she said she would come wake me up in the morning. I'll say here that i was not sleeping in my room, i was sleeping in our Disney room. This was b/c she put clean sheets on my bed for when we got back from the wedding. In the Disney room there are no windows (not a legal room lol) so at night it is pitch black. There is one source of light and it is the clock on the DVR. But i cover this up b/c it is too bright. So i have no idea what time it is. I'm sleeping and i hear this weird noise. In my sleepy state i recognize it to be the sound of my mom's camera when she starts recording a video. I tried really hard to ignore it. She comes over and starts to wake me up. "Becca... It's time to get up... You wanted to get moving so let's go......... You know how i said we would get up and go the zoo?... Well i was thinking it would be more fun to hop a plane to Disney World!" I didn't believe her and barely moved. I said, "that's not funny," she says "it's not funny but it's true... do you want to see the plane tickets and t-shirt i made you?" i sleeply respond, "yeah, i'd like some proof." She flips on the lights and my dad, with the camcorder, brings over the t-shirt. Then it all hit me; I was going to Disney World!

so there's what happened and thats why i fell of the face of the Dis once again. I'm considering writing my first TR... what do you guys think?

OH.... How Awesome for you.... (that's my 2 year old's favorite saying).. He always says I'm awesome.. as he's doing something he's not supposed to be doing. Wow... I want a mom and dad like yours that will surprise me with a trip. We did that to my DDs when they were little... they thought we were driving to Baltimore Aquarium, but when we passed the airport, we said to them how would you like to get on a plane and fly to Disney instead. Can you imagine the screams... now it's much harder to surprise them. OH, but we'll try.. they don't know about Sept. yet. So.. TELL us about the trip. Love to hear about it. Well.. hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend, I've been under the weather, I guess somethings going around.. or maybe allergies, but never suffered from allergies before so... I did get my garden planted finally, and so far the dog and bunnies haven't bothered it yet.
Graduations are so much fun for the little guys. Enjoy it, cause before you blink, you'll be sitting at their HS graduations.. TK.. how's that baby doing?

Good morning and btw, we are complete idiots. Recently my husband found the title to my car. He mentioned that we are going to need it to transfer the car to my daughter. Yesterday he goes to get it and it's nowhere to be found. I'm pretty sure he didn't hand it to me. I'm so frustrated and we both looked for a few hours yesterday. How could we lose it? Where did it walk off to? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Happy Hump Day! Why is it the short work weeks always seem longer??! I've got to continue cleaning today; first camp comes this weekend. All the guys are running around like headless chickens trying to fix all the last-minute stuff and get the grounds cleaned up. The camp director assures us that once the season starts, it actually gets easier because you settle into a routine....I hope so!

Thanks, I think we need some luck. I tried to jog my husband's memory about what he did after he found the title, but it didn't work. Did you put it back where you found it? "I don't know" Did you keep it out meaning to put it somewhere else? "I don't know" Did you walk out of the bedroom with it and set it down somewhere? "I don't know" and so on.... Not very helpful. I did find an application online to request a new title and printed it out. Cost $43 and I don't know how long that will take.

That must be a busy place around there getting ready for campers. One year my mother and I did all the spring cleaning for several camps that a women rents to people for the summer. They had been sitting all winter so lots of dead things, cobwebs, dust and inside and out of all cupboards had to be washed. Tons of work.
