LegoMom, that sounds like a nice weekend, and pretty similar to what we're doing here. Just hanging out at home, thinking about a little bbq later.

Good morning. We went to visit my son at the state park yesterday where he is camping with my brother. It was a good day. Today we are bringing the dogs to our camp. We have to make 2 trips to camp b/c we can't all fit in the truck at the same time. Can only bring 1 dog at a time and still they barely fit.

LegoMom, I need to get started soon reading that trip report.

i thought i would drag my lazy butt in here and say hey...

i haven't fallen off the face of the earth, just been too busy running around it.

i'll post some more later.

guffaw... so i post this on the 16th hoping that since school was almost out i would be able to join in a bit more...

and wham! now it's the 31st and look how much i've missed!!

so i shall now (partially) fill you all in;

On Wednesday and Thursday (19th & 20th) were our final tests, both a half day of school. Graduation (not that i graduated) was on the 23rd. My best friend's grad party was on the 22nd but i told her i would not be able to go b/c i had to go to a wedding in Omaha. Or so i thought...

My mom had been telling me that we would get up on the 21st (Friday) and drive down there really early to be there when the zoo opens. Ok, fine with me. So i go the bed on Thursday and she asks me if i still want to get up in the morning, that she is fine with not going to the zoo. I told her i wanted to and she said she would come wake me up in the morning. I'll say here that i was not sleeping in my room, i was sleeping in our Disney room. This was b/c she put clean sheets on my bed for when we got back from the wedding. In the Disney room there are no windows (not a legal room lol) so at night it is pitch black. There is one source of light and it is the clock on the DVR. But i cover this up b/c it is too bright. So i have no idea what time it is. I'm sleeping and i hear this weird noise. In my sleepy state i recognize it to be the sound of my mom's camera when she starts recording a video. I tried really hard to ignore it. She comes over and starts to wake me up. "Becca... It's time to get up... You wanted to get moving so let's go......... You know how i said we would get up and go the zoo?... Well i was thinking it would be more fun to hop a plane to Disney World!" I didn't believe her and barely moved. I said, "that's not funny," she says "it's not funny but it's true... do you want to see the plane tickets and t-shirt i made you?" i sleeply respond, "yeah, i'd like some proof." She flips on the lights and my dad, with the camcorder, brings over the t-shirt. Then it all hit me; I was going to Disney World!

so there's what happened and thats why i fell of the face of the Dis once again. I'm considering writing my first TR... what do you guys think?

Yikes! I hope he feels better soon. My son has a nasty cough as well, could be allergies, I'm not sure.

Who's super excited about the release of Alice on DVD?

I have no idea if I'll have time to get it today, though. I have a doc's appt this morning, work, and then DS has a "graduation" ceremony tonight, which I think is adorable.

Graduating from preschool. I hope he's less nervous for this one than the last time; he seems really excited. Anyway, he'll still continue to go during the summer, but it's nice to observe the end of school year traditions.

The weather this weekend was good. It's cloudy now and we may have a thunderstorm. I'm sure my son exhausted himself camping so it's more difficult to fight off germs. It might be allergies. Last night he said he couldn't tell if it was a cold or allergies.
