All at once?

Just the first two together. The broccoli bites were for DD#2. For the first, I gained quite a bit thanks to those subs and Steak and Shake malts.

DD#2 had to be picked up from school today, they think she has pink eye. So I had to take off work so I can take her to the doctor. I'm hoping it's just allergies to all the pollen and not something contagious.

My little one does have pink eye. Luckily (if pink eye can be lucky), she has the bacterial variety which is treatable though leaves her eye gunky. And DH is home still from shoulder surgery, so I won't have to take any more time off. Though I think he's going to go nuts with a stir-crazy 4 year old.

Shay--too bad your little one has pink eye. I always hated it when one of my little ones had it because they were impossible to hold down to give them their eye drops.

Okay, bedtime. I have to get the contacts out of my eyes before I have pink eye. . .

Hey, guys. I've hesitated posting this because of how private we are, but I'm not going to be around as much. My mom is currently in the cardiac ICU of our local hospital. I don't want to go into great detail about what happened, because she's very private as well, but they're hoping to bring her out of sedation today to see how she responds. Please keep us in your thoughts.

Ok, so I decided to NOT change my flight. I know an extra 4 hours in Disney is priceless but so is getting home in one piece. I know myself and how tired I get and how early. It's one thing to be in Disney and stay in a park until midnight, cuz then you just hop on a bus and flop into bed at your resort. But having to make my 1-1/2 hour drive home, starting at 10pm, just wasn't a good idea. And this drive is through the country - VERY dark at night! Hard to see anything. Wisdom needed to prevail here so I'm sticking with the earlier flight.

I did, however, book a town car for the trip back to the airport. Buys me another hour and saves me lots of waiting around like you do with ME. I'll still use them coming to Disney, just not leaving. And I'll have a more relaxed morning in Epcot!

And thanks, Mean Queen. Even though I don't always feel like eating or sleeping, I know I have to take care of me and this baby. My five year old has been awesome. I know he senses something is wrong. We haven't told him exactly, just that my mom is sick. I don't feel comfortable explaining it to him because I don't really have any good explanations right now.
