Everyone started without me. I can't believe page six in such a short time.

They're leavin' us in the dust, PaMom!!....:rotfl: Five pages yesterday in the first few hours of this thread's life!

So what's new with you? How was your week?

.

Oh, for pete's sake. I am so behind the times.

I haven't been on in 4 days, and already we have a new thread and six pages worth.

I feel pitiful. :sad2:

Okay, I'm good now.

HI GUYS!!!!

Hey, TK! I know the feeling. At least I will have my laptop and wireless card next week so I won't get too far behind while I'm gone. . .

I'm so excited for your trip! You're going to do a trip report, right? I want to live vicariously through you. :goodvibes

The lights at DHS were great tonight, though packed. We also got to watch Illuminations from our room. Not a perfect view, but a perfect spot on the balcony. No crowds.

DD10 drove us crazy today. She was just negative about everything. If I wanted to wait in line, she didn't. If I didn't, she did. Then she asked a million times questions I already gave her answers to. I think tomorrow we will make a no complaining rule or we leave Disney right away.

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

Mean Queen, I hope today is a better day for you.

creativeamanda, I agree.......live updates!!!!

Mean Queen - yikes! Sorry you had a rough day with DD. Sadly, I can relate!!:rotfl: Although in my case I attribute it to teenager-ism. Hope your weekend overall has been good, though! I just read that there was a power outage on the express and resort monorail lines early this morning!! Can you imagine being stuck in a monorail car for over 2 hours when all you want to do is get back to your resort and sleep!?! Ugh.

Hi Smileybug!!:wave2:

creativeamanda - are you getting to the "I'm too excited to sleep!" point yet?!!:banana:I always seem to reach that pretty early on.....

.

MeanQueen--sorry about your 10yo. Why is it always the 10yo? I'm always like, "Just don't question me--just do it!"

Legomom and Smileybug--I'll do some on site updates probably starting after the party (around Sat morning). Most of the updates'll be on Facebook, though, because it's easier from my phone to do the updates. I'll try to get in a few posts from my room, though.

Strangely enough--I'm not in the "too excited to sleep" mode. I've left a lot to do to this week (touring plans and the like), so I'm so exhausted when my head hits the pillow, I can't do anything but sleep, KWIM?

Well there's a new twist on things!!......leaving some planning for the last minute!

:rotfl2:

I start planning so far in advance that I'm not sure I could do that.....the anxiety of waiting just might kill me!

.

amanda, are you driving down??.....when do you actually get there?

.

Hi everyone.

Friday evening we dropped my son off with my daughter at college. We need to pick him up today. This was his 1st weekend visit. There is not a lot going on during the weekend as many of the community college students go home on weekends. More were staying at school this weekend though. Probably b/c break starts on the 18th. It sure was weird dropping him off. As we were driving away, we saw them walking to the dining hall together. It was a strange feeling and I realized they are getting older.

Mean Queen, I hope you have a better day today with your daughter. Believe me, I understand. ;)

We were lucky enough to not be on there then. My babysitter and her friend weren't so lucky. They stayed at MK until it closed at 1. They didn't get off the monorail until close to 3 a.m.. :scared1:

Today was better. We hit the MK for a few hours. But we came back early so we could buy a Christmas tree.

Love the live update! Sorry about DD!

You're mean! :rotfl:

I told DD today as she was decorating the tree that I'll take her to WDW for her high school graduation. She graduates in 2014. She'll turn 18 weeks after she graduates. I told her that we may go in 2013, but more than likely it will be 2014. That is simply because her dad & I are divorced and I would like to spend Christmas Day at the parks. We have done two December trips in the middle of the month, I wouldn't mind being there a few days before Christmas Day and then leave like the 26th or 27th. If we go in 2013 I would want to go in the middle of the month and I don't want to pull her out for that reason(visit to WDW)in her senior year.

We've pretty much decided to put off our trip next year until 2011. We all agree we'd like to go back to NH for Christmas next year. It'll be our first time back in nearly 2 years. Disney will always be there. Although, I'm really pushing for a quick weekend solo trip next September for Free Dining!:thumbsup2 Mama's gotta have her Disney fix, don'tcha know!

.

Legomom, you are right--but I am really looking forward to this solo trip. I actually am unplanning this time around. But of course, I did print of touring guides if I decide I hate it that way.

Morning, everyone!

I have a post from my trip report, and I just wanted to share it with you here. :goodvibes

That, as of late, I've been DIS absent.

I do have a perfectly good reason, which I'd love to relate in song.

ahem...

A Pirate's Life for Three, A Pirate's Life for Three...
What can be said of the beauty of a pirate's life for three...

We journey to Disney, fill up on fun
treat ourselves most heartily, yo ho

We ponder the thought of adding one
to this family of ours, yo ho

What starts as a dream
for a new little bean
becomes a reality, yo ho

And so to relate
the first trimester I face
no more drink up, me hearties yo ho

A Pirate's Life for Three, A Pirate's Life for Three
we're ready to open a new door
and now, I am happy to report...

A Pirate's Life for Four

The day after Thanksgiving, I found out we're expecting our second child.

Ok, can I say it again here?......

CONGRATULATIONS TK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
