And mine just got longer. We moved our Thanksgiving cruise. My dad backed out and the cost was just too much to justify going without family. Instead, we're doing a back to back on the Disney Dreams for Spring Break 2011. We're doing the first half using DVC points and the second using the money we put down on the Thanksgiving cruise. While I'm sad to not be cruising this year, I'm very excited about going on the new ship.![]()
I'm so glad Monday is almost over for me!![]()
Happy Monday, Babnanas!
What is it about a discount that makes me feel compelled to act on it? Something on sale at Walmart that I never knew I "needed"? Must buy!
25-40% off room discount at Disney? I want to go!![]()
So not going to happen, but fun to price out anyway. We need all our discretionary spending for the bean, the health care costs, and the FMLA leave I'm planning. In my state, you can take up to 16 weeks, and I plan to take all of it.
Long story, but my "leave" may be a lot longer than that. At my last doctor's appointment, my blood pressure flagged high. In the time I was there, the bottom number did go down, which is what they were looking for, but between all the changes going on at work in regard to scheduling and a lot of pressure I'm feeling, I wouldn't be suprised if I get put on bed rest again.
I don't mean to sound flip about it, it's not something I really want to happen, but I'm concerned. I was put on bedrest for the last three months of my pregnancy with my son, so it's not out of the realm of "normal" for me. I'm trying to do the best I can to eliminate stress, but it's hard. I do small things every day before my day starts, but it seems like when I get to work it all goes to pot, as the good captain would say.
Anyway, the good news I have for you all is that I'm starting to feel the baby move. It's too early for anyone else to be able to feel it, but I get little...don't know how to describe it...like bumps, sort of every now and then, and that's a great feeling.![]()

I hate that. I just moved mine. We added a room only reservation to the night before, instead of staying offsite. And we added a day to the end. We're anticipating the Wizarding World of Harry Potter being open by May 28, and we're figuring as the day gets closer, it's gonna be harder to get reservations. We plan on going mid week if it is open by that week. If not, we'll go to Epcot. Decisions, decisions.
DH is talking about doing a Disney cruise next. And it'll be totally worth waiting for ya'll to be on a new ship!
I'm so happy for you and your bean.
TK--is the pirate nudging you? That's one of my favorite times--I felt better, I could feel something that others couldn't, so I was in my own little special place with myself and the babies.
