Which, amazingly, I haven't heard much about recently. (the swine flu)....

I keep meaning to tell ya'll .....Please make sure your virus protection on your computers is completely up to date. I had a nasty something completely take my lap top out this weekend. I'm talking it killed it......DEAD. It won't even turn on. I know it was due to a virus because the thing went crazy flashing all these alert screens. I have a new one now. And you can bet that this is well taken care of. My other one was less than a year old. And thank goodness the important stuff was backed up. But I haven't put a spell checker on this yet. Do any of you have any suggestions? I can't remember what I used on the other one. Yeah, yeah, I know.....spell checker only works if you use it. And I do........sometimes......Except for those moments when I'm typing in the dark.

I got me some catchin' up to do. Just wanted to say hi ya'll, but I gotta run now. Hey, just wonderin' if Dukes is so good, then how come we can't find it in our neck of the woods... Ha... can I get it on e-bay?? What's the best thing you ever got off e-bay..? if anything? My DH is crazy.. once he bought a BASS drum.... ya know the big ones that they wear in marching band. The BIG ones... Don't ask!! but the darn thing came in a file cabinet box. When it arrived, I called to ask him what he was buying a file cabinet for, and he said it's not a file. It cost a mini fortune to ship, I was like, WHAT were you thinking??? I cut him off e-bay for a while. but I still love him.

The only other odd ebay story I know is about my friends husband. He went through such a frenzy of buying antique books from ebay, he couldn't keep up with the payments and got banned from buying or selling on eBay. I guess she should be happy he didn't by a bass drum.

DD & I went to the Humane Society yesterday and saw two rats. They were white and kinda looked cute. It is always so hard to give the ok to put an animal down.

Lucy was white with dark pink eyes. We buried her at my brothers with his dog and cat that died last year. He's got his own grave yard going.
