What a great gift Leah! And only a Disney fan would go to Paris and make sure to take in Disneyland Paris. It sounds like there were some great Santa's out there.

Now, I just wish Santa would come back and organize all this stuff he brought. I mean, if he can make it to almost all the houses in one night, he can organize my house.

I take off tomorrow for our New Year's trip. We're going to AKV for a day, then a day in Savannah, GA before arriving in DVC Hilton Head. I'm bringing my laptop, but unless the wireless got better since last year, I won't be able to check in much. PLEASE, don't let this thread die a slow and painful death while I'm gone. I'd hate to lose this in the archives of my thread subscriptions.

Good morning and HAPPY Saturday!

I had a very exciting Friday night. Not! I was in bed before 9:00.

What's everyone doing today?

DH is sick so for me it's just a quiet day around the house - except a couple of quick errands. I have three DVD's from Redbox to watch.

The Tiffany key chain DH got me for Christmas came yesterday. I'll post a pic later.

We'll be taking on the parks one ride at a time today. Epcot and MK. I promised dds' that we'd see a parade and the fireworks tonight. The testosterone in the family are going to do guy stuff. I might do a little more shopping since its my birthday.

DTD was madness last night.

The DIS seems to be running well. I haven't been kicked out yet-lol.

I'm off tomorrow and Tuesday so I'm taking it easy just doing errands (DH unfortunately has to work today & tomorrow).

I'm even feeling better but still not 100% - I don't know what this is, but it looks like it's making me loose my voice. I'm sure DH will happy about that!

Anyone have any new years eve plans?

I'm off tomorrow and Tuesday. DH has to work tomorrow but is off Tuesday.

We're going out for dinner then watching the ball drop from home. Should be exciting.

Sounds like quite a day! Wish I had the same exhaustion!


No big NYE plans for us. We never do. I hate going out on that night anyway. Today we are going to meet friends down in MA for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, then taking the boys to the Lego Store in the same mall. That's the closest I can get to a Disney fix up here!

School starts back on Wed. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eleven days off is driving me crazy. My paycheck is going to be so small. My DD11 is driving me nuts. All of that pre-adolesent attitude is making me wanting to do evil things to her.

I had a tough time getting a good pic of the key ring and when I did finally get a better pic my photo transfers aren't working. I'm posting this one - not the best pic since the ring has fingerprints all over it and you can't quite make out my initials, or tell that it's lovely sterling silver, but take my word for it - it's cute!

Happy New Year's Rockin' Eve.

Who else is planning on watching the countdown with Ryan Seacrest tonight? Ryan does an o.k. job, but I grew up on Dick Clark and miss him a lot. The first year he didn't host, my NYE countdown seemed off somehow.
As I mentioned before I have the day off. I need to make a trip to the mall and to Target. Oh, and return the DVD's to the Redbox - one of which I am watching while I Dis. Have you all seen 'Next' with Nicholas Cage and Jessica Biehl? It's a pretty good movie. Jessica Biel is gorgeous as always.
