I have to go shopping today. I'll be looking for these. I love mint and chocolate together!! :goodvibes There is a cookie receipt my DD and I love making. You melt milk chocolate (dark is good too) and add and some mint flavoring to it. Then dip vanilla waffers in the mixture and let them dry on wax paper. Oh my goodness they are yummy. They taste just like the mint cookies the girl scouts sell.

I make something similar with melted chocolate bark, peppermint extract and Ritz crackers. I get requests for these every year.

guess what I had yesterday ladies?
-a gingerbread latte,
Oh it was gorgeous!

I now may have to run out for a Starbucks instead of saving money and making coffee at home. :surfweb:

Sounds like you are at Starbucks as much as my hubby is. :thumbsup2 I keep telling him he blew it buy not buying stock years ago.

I'll be back later. Gotta get going. Have a fantastic day!!

Hello everyone!

Reading through the latest posts makes me hungry. I can't wait to try the mint M&M's. I am a big fan of mint and chocolate as well. Although, I don't care much for Peppermint Patties. Another mint item I love is Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies. Has anyone tasted the Thin Mint ice cream? Oh my gosh, it is sooooo good!

I'm always torn between the Thin Mint ice cream or the Samoas one. Those are both my favorite cookies. Though I rarely buy Thin Mints anymore since I can make my own.

Is there any particular reason we are all talking about chocolate? ALL TALK OF CHOCOLATE IS NOW BANNED. I HAVE GAINED TWO POUNDS JUST THINKING ABOUT IT. :rotfl2:

OMGosh, there's Samoas ice cream, too?? Yummy! Are there others???

Hi Smiley!! Glad you could stop by this morning. :thumbsup2

I've seen Tagalongs (the chocolate peanut butter), but rarely. It's also so yummy.

Sorry about the chocolate talk. But it's guilt and calorie free!

**DISCLAIMER** Please ignore this post and skip over it if you'd rather not hear me B&M about selling a house. Again... I just need to get this off my chest or I'm gonna blow!!!!

I'm not really sure why this is bugging me so much. But it's been chewing away at me all afternoon, if subconciously. In a nutshell, the "contractor" who came through with the neighbor's friends gave them a load of bunk over an issue with the house. I've asked several other non-involved people if they'd ever heard of such a thing (no detail, just a fact-finding query) and NO one has. What irritates me the most, I think, is that the "contractor" (and I put that in quotes becuase I'm not even sure that's what he does professionally, for a living) is my neighbor's DH!!!

Right now I don't even want to move anymore. I want to take the house of the market, unpack all the boxes in the basement, start making plans for 2008, and get another dog (my DS11 wants a Pug!!:upsidedow ).

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgh!

Because chocolate is yummy and makes you feel good to boot! And you see, where I live, in the cold frozen north, we aim to pack on a few pounds over the winter months. It's a survival thing. Skinny people just won't make it once it dips below zero!:rotfl:

Ok, first...

Second, have you had a home inspector look at the house? You wouldn't want to share this with buyers, but it would give you more info on the house and help you be on the offensive, rather than defensive. Too many times people act like an expert when they're not. :sad2:

now I feel justified weight wise for where I live where I am :thumbsup2

once upon a time, I used to be a size 8 *sigh*.

Ok, I'm switching gears entirely here....

Have any of you seen the really scary posts over on the main DIS page (I think under the Resorts forum?) regarding totally fouled up reservations??:scared1: It makes me gun-shy about actually booking that next trip! One poor woman was contacted by Disney - 10 days out from her trip! - that her ressie was incorrect and she still owes them $3000 or it's null and void! WHAT!?! It's a horror story. And it's not the only one going on right now, either. And apparently Disney puts this neat and tidy little disclaimer in their correspondence to cover their butts in such an instance, so basically if they screw up, YOU'RE screwed!

What in the world is happening to the Happiest Place on Earth?!!?:sad2:

Woot woot! I have nothing planned for the day. We have a cold front down here, the high is 61! Though it'll be back up in the 70's again tomorrow.

I'd love to see the happy holiday hat boxes. :rotfl2: Ok, feeling giddy and haven't even had my coffee. :surfweb:

We went and looked at a house this week we were interested in. We aren't planning on moving, but we saw a house for sale we thought we really liked. The pool was amazing! But the living room and family room were both so small. We'd have to rotate guests from each room to avoid a fire marshall citation for being over capacity. Plus, the master bath only had a shower. I want a big jacuzzi tub or at least a big tub. You've also all turned me off from wanting to sell my house with all the problems you're having. :rotfl:

Hang in there, Lego Mom. Don't give up on selling your house. Things will work out, you'll see. :goodvibes

Mean Queen - Enjoy that cold front. :rotfl: You sound like my DS who lives in Texas. She said it's so cold she had to dig out her coat. I said really, it's that cold? Then she corrected herself by saying in Texas it's considered a coat. Where I am it's considered a jacket.

Heading over to the Resort board to read the hot thread about reservations.

LOL! I had to go to the store to buy my baby a hoodie jacket because it's too cold for just long sleeves. :lmao: It will get colder in about a month. Probably drop down to what you had last month.
