An exciting day of not much. Here's what I should be doing: my freelance work, trying to get my Pampered Chef business back up, laundry, dishes, vacuuming, organizing the playroom, and/or laundry (so much I had to put it twice.) Here's what I am doing: the DIS, Webkinz, making iced coffee, and following my daredevil 17 month old around. I bought a bunch of 12-packs of Pepsi from CVS yesterday and had them stacked in the kitchen. She decided it was a pyramid to climb and then fell off the top.

I guess I should go do something. Just to decide which one.

I love PC!!! I actually started the business once some years ago but couldn't keep it going when my DH went to the night shift (since most parties are held at night; I didn't want to get into finding a sitter every time I went out!). How long have you done it?


Anyway - Hey people!!! I had to dig us out of Page 4! Actually I don't think we're slow in posting, I think the CB is just particularly active today for some reason. I did see ConcKahuna on another thread... Alas, tagged and too good for us now.

I just went way back to the beginning of this thread and discovered that quite a few people who originally posted as tagless...

...are now tagged!!!!!!!!!

Of course they no longer hang here with us anymore.

I'm convinced the Tag Fairy doesn't even read this thread. I'd love just one little sign that he/she DOES. Like put some color in my self-tag, or make an official tag stating that this thread isn't ignored by the TF!

I love PC!!! I actually started the business once some years ago but couldn't keep it going when my DH went to the night shift (since most parties are held at night; I didn't want to get into finding a sitter every time I went out!). How long have you done it?

I started doing PC about a year ago, but I went inactive a few months ago. It is hard to keep up with the shows when DH is out of town for business or we have a WDW or other trip planned. I have a friend though who is absolutely addicted and wants me to do a party for her. So I'm going to try to start it back up, but mostly for the discount and free stuff I get. I'm not into recruiting people or selling hard. I do always recommend if you like the products to have a party though. Most of my stuff I got free or at a great discount by hosting parties rather than selling it like I am now. And free is always nice.

I hope it works! Though I guess my self made tag would look a little silly if it was made into a real tag, since you then wouldn't have to pretend it was colorful... just witty.

Wow, lots of changes since I was in here yesterday! Maybe we'll get lucky this time...

I am sitting at the computer and listening to my neighbor's visiting kids running amok on their 4-wheeler.....at 7:30 in the morning!!!!!!!!! This is family that is apparently staying with them indefinitely ...They parked a big ol' camper in the driveway, which I guess is where they sleep. How they fit 4 people, 3 large dogs and 1 enormous cat all in there, I'll never know. The kids are up at the crack of dawn and more than once we've had to ask them to not cut through our yard to get to the back of the neighborhood (we've spent the last few years trying to make all traces of the previous path there disappear!...I don't want our yard to look like a highway when we put the house up for sale). Ugh...what a way to start the day.

So how is everyone ELSE this fine morning?!!

Ooh!...on a happy note, we had an ice cream truck come through here yesterday!! I have never seen one here and of course every kid around came out for it! The woman running it goes to the area towns and didn't know until yesterday that we were even out here (and I stress "out here"...!) so she said she'll be coming every Wednesday now until it gets too cold... Yikes, don't even wanna think about that...!!

7.30? Oh My God! are they posessed or something? thats not natural...
but then again if I was sharing a caravan with that amount of people a cat and a dog, Id get out of there as soon as I could.

We had an ice cream truck lady that came by our neighborhood every day for a few weeks. After a while, I just wanted to close the windows and hide because she knew my DD lived there and would pause to give her a chance to run out.

I do not understand kids getting up and 4-wheeling at 7:30 in the morning. If it's not a school day, there's no reason to be up and out at that time. Though Gracy may be on to something with the RV idea. Who would want to be cooped up in that thing with that many people and animals?

I saw an ice cream truck yesterday for the first time all summer. It was late in the evening and dark so I don't think it was making rounds - perhaps just heading back to wherever ice cream trucks go after they are finished taunting kids/parents for the day.
