I am a huge tag fairy supporter, but no tag for me. BOO HOO!! I just hope someday I will say something witty to catch the attention of the TF and get my tag, but with my luck it will be something really stupid and I will regret the tag forever. I will never say anything about poo, that seems to get the TFs attention. I would not like that in a tag under my name.
I may be tagless, but I am not dead and my contributions to these boards are just as important as those of the upper class with tags.
Nope, the Tag Fairy is totally random, it would seem! I posted recently on another Tag Fairy related thread that I've seen people with less than 200 posts with a tag, and some with thousands of posts with no tag...!
This really puzzles me. The odds should be better for posters with 2,000 and up but then I see posters with 200 thanking the Tag Fairy for their tag. I only think about it when I see the thank you threads.
I had the same tag-fairy-given tags for years, about warming up my credit cards for a Yankee candle sale, and some inside joke about Blue Moon that I don't even remember now and a couple more, then one day they just went *poof*. Not sure if it was a glitch or what, but they were just gone. Now I have one boring one there myself, but it's not the same.
Add me to the list of the Tagless that Care. Everytime I post I check to see if by some "magic" I have a tag, but no such luck. I actually read people's tags and then think "why didn't I think of that?".

makes me think of that song from oliver, you know the one thats like
"oompapa oompapa"
repeat after me, oom-pa-pa
now doesnt it sound like theres a carrosel in your mouth!
But isn't that the same attitude we had in high school when others had things we didn't have?
Anyway, tags aren't a popularity contest to me. I like them just because they're funny - especially when taken totally out of context. Plus, aren't they random?
