Wow! You people are up early. I have a birthday party to go to today but until then I plan to do a whole bunch of nothing. Except some Dis'ing of course.

Ok, it may be entirely too early (on a Sunday morning no less!) for dancing bananas, but....

  It's a great day in Red Sox Nation!!!

They won Game 3 of the Series last night in Denver! (and that's three in a row for those of you not keeping track!)

In other news...
DeterminedOne, here's a link you may enjoy - it's for our NH news station (yes, there's only one...) and it's a slide show of viewer photos of the foliage season:

I'm finally off to Stuff-Mart today for the last of the costume supplies...! I'm not worried about finding what I need, but I sure pushed myself to the last minute to get it all done. Such is life in the boonies.

I'll be back later and I hope to see some activity on this board today!

Wow - those pics are gorgeous! I especially liked the ones of the trains in Crawford and the ones of the covered bridges - but they are all beautiful. Don't you feel blessed to live within such beautiful surroundings? Thanks for sharing.

GOOD MORNING YA'LL!!

It's still raining here!!
And I don't have to go anywhere!!
Have a good one ya'll!!

I wish I could be tagged but like that'll ever happen:sad1:

I have always wanted to go there! It's only a day's drive away so a 4-day weekend would do it, but somehow we've yet to make the trip out. I'm all about chocolate! (I would have to do the factory tour as well as the theme park)

Yeah, I really do. But it's like anyplace, when you grow up there and see it every day, you wonder why people spend so much time and money on vacations to come visit while you can't wait for a change. I'm also plagued with wanderlust so I have a hopeless case of the grass always being greener some place else!:rolleyes1

We all used to say the same thing! Don't give up. You're new so just give it time. And I promise you, the Tag Fairy always strikes when you're NOT looking for it!

Don't wanna be tagged!! Got my own tag!

Getting a tag puts you in a corner, nobody puts baby in a corner..oh wait, Im not watching a movie, im on the computer!:cool1:

With only 24 posts, you have many more to go before you're likely to get caught saying something stupid. We had one member with 10,000 posts before she got tagged.

Well, the grass usually is greener where you're moving to. As is the foliage, since we don't have a change of seasons. Though I could probably put up beautiful pictures of our sunsets and beaches and feel the same as you do "Been there, seen that too much."

Wow, could you come to my house? Two projects to get done for two different kids. I had to make lunch, do dishes, I was just running circles today.

GOOD MORNING YA'LL!!

O.k. moms. Question: How much do you help your child out with their school projects/papers? How much help is too much help?

I worked with my second grader today on a shadow box project and felt I was doing it for her. it was about middle of the cutting and stuff that I backed off and just guided her. We did use a hot glue gun and I gunned it as she placed it. The writing part is next. I'm researching, but how does a second grader pick out the info to write? The wickpedia (for her) is blech!

Love it- Off to stuff mart :rotfl2: So, :rotfl2: did you get what you needed at stuff mart?

We had our trunker treat tonight. It was a lot of fun. I took pics of the van and will have to (hopefully) post them tomorrow. I didn't come up with a costume idea until it was time for me to leave the house. I should've dressed up as the scuba diver in the beginning of Nemo to match the Nemo theme I had created for the van. A big d'oh moment!

<-------the DIS clock is a 1/2-hour off!

  Red Sox Rule!!!

(and I make no apology for dancing bananas
at 6:30 in the morning today!)

Oh, and the Pats also slaughtered the Redskins
yesterday, 52-7!!!
:scared1:

Good morning, all. It's a chili 34 degrees here this morning. My windows were all frosted over and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to work the defrost in my car. :sad2: It's only been a few days since I learned how to work the heat.

That's always a problem I have because I get too into it and want it to be perfect. My old school habits are hard to break. :rolleyes1

But I try to stick with helping her with things that she can't do (like hot glue guns and cutting small pieces) and following the rules of the project. My DD has a big project for gifted with a lot of rules. It all has to fit into a cereal box, a certain amount must be handdrawn, and she can only use one of each type of source (book, website). I think as long as you aren't doing the majority of the project you should be fine. I'm sure teachers realize that parents often help more than they should and consider this a good chance for parents and kids to learn together.

Just when you think you're getting to know your new car. :rotfl: 34 degrees! :scared1: We're preparing for a possible tropical storm down here. It's just nasty and rainy. I plan on singing "Rain, Rain, Go Away" all week so it's gone by this weekend for my girls weekend at WDW.
