Sometimes it takes time to get tagged. And it happens when you least expect it. I woke up this morning to find a little color under my name. But you can see how long this thread is before it happened to most of us.

PaMom, I forgot to ask you what is taught in a "Life Skills" class. Is it a modern day home ec class where they teach you about credit cards and other more modern issues?

Nope. It is for the "higher functioning" kids with developmental delays. Congrats to everyone who has new tags. I wouldn't mind my top tag being fixed. It has a ">" on the end.

That sounds like a very rewarding job. Sorry that teacher is giving you a hard time. I can't imagine why anyone would give an aide a hard time, I mean, you're aiding them!

Hey DeterminedOne!! Yes, the tags were flying today!! I thank you and Mean Queen for mine. I did find that post you left on the Santa thread. That was so sweet of you. As you can see I had to put a disclaimer in my siggy about the Mcmansion though. There is a thread on the CB bashing them. But I do thank you for your caring thoughts!!

I don't have much planned today. I feel like I'm waiting on the world. I contacted a place about a job on Monday - left a message. No call as of yesterday so I called again, left another message.... Today I'll pick up the local paper and look again. Also waiting to hear from the real estate agent. She was suppoesd to contact me on Tuesday to discuss the market and dropping the price. Over two days and I haven't heard a thing... Can you say "avoidance" !! If my dad contacts her, it won't be pretty (he's the legal owner of this place, which is why he'd be calling her). I'm not overly happy with this gal as our agent and it's only been 2 1/2 weeks...Ugh.

Time to get the kids off to school! Have a tag-filled day, everyone! Hey, I guess we don't need these anymore!

Hey LegoMom!! Thanks for all the happy thoughts about the house. That thread wasn't just bashing Mcmansions. It was alot of things that people are unhappy about. I could have gotten myself in so much trouble in that thread. But I kept my fingers still. I wish you lots of with your realitor and selling your home. We have a realitor picked out but we haven't signed with her yet. We are having some second thoughts about using her. Hubby is kind of shopping around for another one.

I think there's a thread on the CB bashing everything. Some people just want to complain and be heard complaining, so they take it here to offend the masses. You have worked hard for your dream home and totally deserve to have a McMansion. Though I'm sure in your housing area, it's a fairly standard larger house. Since I think the only people in Florida who have 6 1/2 acres to build on are either farmers or Disney, it seems like a McMansion to me.
