No, but it isn't without me trying. I moved furniture in my classroom today. Apparently they thought that there was no point in putting things back in the correct classrooms this year after they cleaned.

She is excited about her birthday. We're planning a pool party. Her theme is "Summer Fun." I bought a bunch of cheap sand pails for my goody bags. I'm putting out a candy buffet so the kids can fill their pails as they wish. I bought bigger sand pails to hold the candy on the table. I may also get some other cool themed holders (any ideas?). I bought ring pops and pop rocks. I plan to get candy necklaces and bracelets. I will probably avoid anything chocolate (boooo!) because it'll be outside.

I am leaning more towards going back to work IF I can get my DD2 into a good preschool near my work. We've put way too much on credit lately and are slowly digging ourselves into a hole again. Plus, who knows when DH's job will go away.

The party sounds FUN. Great idea with the sand pails.

Preschool might be good for your daughter. Hope you can find a good one. I worked part time till my daughter was close to 3 then I became a SAHM. Even though I was home, I wanted my kids to benefit from preschool. The 2 I had to choose from were very part time, not a daycare/preschool. 3 year olds went Tues and Thurs 8:30 - 11:30 and 4 year olds attended Mon, Wed, Fri 8:30 - 11:30. The one my daughter attended was ok, but I was very happy with my son's preschool. I'm glad they went. Even for those short hours, it was beneficial.

I understand about being in a hole. We should have been close to paying our cards off, but things keep happening. Eventually our luck will change. If only the real estate market was not so bad and we could sell that piece of land. Then we would be fine.

Boy am I sick of the rain. Last night I let my puppies out to pee and when I went to get them, they made a big mud hole. They were both covered in mud from head to toe. I wanted to cry. I couldn't let 90 and 105 pound dogs covered in mud in my house. I had to take them out front 1 at a time, tie them to a tree and hose them off. What a mess! Now every time they go out, I have to go out with them. I have to stand there to make sure they are not playing in the mud again. UGH

Reason #462 why I gave up on dogs!!!

It is quite wet, though....DH is waiting to pressure-clean the deck and re-Thompsonize it. Not this week, apparently!

Hey LegoMom. Awwwww you multi quoted. Mean Queen was just complaining about multi quoting. But I can't stand pages of single quotes. Drives my up a wall. But since we aren't exactly burning up the pages right now I guess single quoting is okay.

I admit, after I saw the dogs and wanted to cry, I started laughing. They were wagging their tails happy as can be. I think they were proud of themselves. Of course my husband was not home to help either so I quickly went from laughter to disgust. It's all good now though.

I really liked "Get Smart." It was much better than I expected.

I became a SAHM with my first DD when she was 2, then went back to work when she was 4. With this one, I've been a SAHM since the beginning. I think she'd be fine with preschool. She's very independent while my first is not.

I just made Salmon with Pecan Honey glaze for dinner. It's not very Weight Watchers friendly, but I had the points to spend since I had a very light breakfast. I'm getting ready for tap class. I'll be back later tonight.

I made tuna burgers for dinner. Yum-O! I want to make crab cakes sometime but even the canned crab meat is SO expensive!
