Ok, am I the only one who sees a hint of a hidden Mickey in the pad of her foot...? (tilt your head to the left)

I am spending waaaayy too much time on the DIS boards...:sad2:

.

I see it, too.

For everyone who is heading out on vacation or to camp,
be safe, have a good time, and don't get lost on the way!

I got lost coming back. In D.C. no less.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Then I guess you won't be making a trip to Disney any time soon. It's high 90's down here every week.

Have a great time in Williamsburg. It is so pretty there. I went for a quick trip a few years ago, but I'd love to take the girls for a longer visit.

DD12 wanted to go there. My parents have a time share and gifted us their week this year. I nipped that in the bud really quick.

Hey ya'll. I hope you all had an enjoyable day. Tomorrow is Monday. The begining of a new week. :woohoo: So, here's to new beginings :grouphug:

It's Monday....

Blah.

I so don't want to go to work today. I did not want to have to get up early, before everyone else, to get ready to leave the house.

Blah.

At least I got a little DIS time in this morning!

.

Good morning. I was so tired yesterday when I got home from camping that after most everything was put away, I took a nap. Then I got up and planted myself on the couch. I am a very light sleeper so find it difficult sleeping in a state park full of people. I am used to being in the boonies. The positive side is running water, toilet and shower. Friday is was pouring when we got there and had to set up in the rain. We had some bad thunderstorms in the middle of the night. I was worried Sat was going to be more rain, but it turned out nice. We only took 1 dog so I could ride with my husband and save on gas in my car. I took my female b/c she is smaller and as it was, she barely fit in the truck. My son went up with my brother. My daughter 17 stayed home for the weekend alone for the 1st time.:scared1: I felt better that my brother is just down the road, but you still worry. I just went out and noticed that the wood that was in the fire pit is gone/been burned. I wonder how many people she had over? Maybe it's better not to know. :lmao:

It probably is better not to know. My parents always knew they could leave me alone because I was too lazy to clean up after myself let alone a group of people. So far, my daughter seems to be taking after me in that. :rolleyes1 I hope you get more sleep today.

I'm heading out shopping.

Hi SadieDog...Your weekend sounds like it was fun. And I agree...not knowing how many people your DD had over is probably for the best.:thumbsup2 :goodvibes :rotfl: There are some things I just don't ask. :)

Hello Mean Queen...I hope your shopping is the fun kind and not the have to do kind. As in grocery shopping. I just told my DD that we would go shopping tomorrow until I remembered that I have jury duty tomorrow. :scared: Oh well.

Jury duty? :scared1: I served once when I was 18 and haven't been called back since.

It was somewhat fun shopping. I took my girls and met my friend and her girls at Limited Too. It was the last day of the 25% off card. I managed to get quite a few tops and shorts for DD for under $100. I also got some ring pops and other candy for her candy buffet for her birthday party next month. Then we stopped by Old Navy. They have a 75% off sale!!!! I got some nice stuff for me and a few more things for DD. Poor little one didn't get anything because we were all too tired to look through the toddler section. I am leaning more towards going back to work, so I got some nice stuff I could wear.

Sounds lke you had a fun day. I bet you DD can't wait for her birthday!! Is she ready for school to start back? Do you have a dead line on deciding about your job? I wish you lots of comfy feelings no matter what you choose to do! :goodvibes :thumbsup2

She is excited about her birthday. We're planning a pool party. Her theme is "Summer Fun." I bought a bunch of cheap sand pails for my goody bags. I'm putting out a candy buffet so the kids can fill their pails as they wish. I bought bigger sand pails to hold the candy on the table. I may also get some other cool themed holders (any ideas?). I bought ring pops and pop rocks. I plan to get candy necklaces and bracelets. I will probably avoid anything chocolate (boooo!) because it'll be outside.

I am leaning more towards going back to work IF I can get my DD2 into a good preschool near my work. We've put way too much on credit lately and are slowly digging ourselves into a hole again. Plus, who knows when DH's job will go away.

How do I post pictures? I want to put some from our vacation on here.

Do you have a photobucket account? I upload mine to photobucket (it's free) then copy the "IMG" link and paste it in my thread here.

Hey, an evening conversation in progress!!!

How was everyone's day? Mine was ok. Had a nice laid-back day at work, just glueing the liners into the boxes (requires no mental exercise whatsoever and was perfect for a Monday when I was tired!!). We've been having some real heavy rainstorms the last few days. Which makes it really muggy. I'll run the A/C when it's in the 90s and sunny, but not just to dry out the house when it's only 72 outside!

I'm starting to look at curriculum for the coming school year. The younger two are easy, since they love workbooks and stuff. Not sure what route to go with DS11. I'd say we're still trying to find his style but I don't think he HAS a style!...:rotfl: He doesn't like "school" in any way, shape or form. Ugh. I think we'll start slow and just see how everyone progresses. There is actually a unit study out there on Epcot - maybe we'll do that since we were going to study a country anyway!

Your DD's party is really sounding like it is coming along. You have some great ideas!! Don't stress over your job decision. You'll probably sit up in bed in the middle of the night wth it all figured out. :rotfl: That what I seem to do. :confused3

Hi PaMom. How are you doing?

I'm glad you had a laid back day. Those can be the best kind. :thumbsup2 The heat has finally hit here in full force. We had our first heat advisory posted today. :scared1: We have really been very fortunate though. This kind of heat normally hits in June. I'm sure things will fall in place with your DS and school. Do you somewhat follow what the school is doing for his grade? Maybe just take that and modify it to fit him better.

I know--we may get to another page again. . .

Us....another page in one day!! :scared1: Surely you jest!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I think we should go for it. :rotfl:

Ok I'm posting here!!! Trying for another page!!! Which would be the 2nd one in as many days.... That's a record for us or something, isn't it??!! :rotfl:

I'm actually heading off to bed here shortly. Very tired....

See y'all tomorrow!
