(hey, kinda looks like that guy is farting hearts, too...)

HEHEHE!!

With my school district job, they always need paraprofessionals helping with the teachers. So going back there wouldn't be a problem. The only thing is if I leave there I will loose my $10.27/hr. I can always get rehired but it would be at the prevailing rate(around $9.00/hr). I would also loose my seniority. I would have a slim chance of getting back into the High School Life Skills class which is where I'm at now. I have no health benefits and when school is out for whatever reason(scheduled day off, delay, early dismissal), I don't get paid. I'm scheduled for a 32.5 hour work week, but, those are few and far between with all the days off and such. It is an easy job. I do get sick days and 2 personal days.

With the job I'm at now, I'm getting paid $13.00/hr. I pay for my health benefits($28something every week). It's a 40 hour week, M-F 8-5. When I have enough hours in, I'll get paid for holidays. I know that I won't get paid for July 4. After 1600 hours I'll get one week vacation. There is a slim chance that I will be hired permanantly.

I'll see what things are like the beginning of August and make my decision.

Personally, I would love to stay at the school district since I would have off the same time my DD(soon to be 12). But the pay stinks. I have almost $4,000 in debt and no money coming in this summer with the exception of child support.

Can't linger this morning - off to work again. I'll pop back in this afternoon. If anyone's around...! ;)

Morning all! I'm just recovering from the weekend. My little one likes to tease us. She'll sleep great for a bit, then she throws in a few nights of waking up in the middle of the night to shake things up a bit. She's shaking things up a bit now. I hate being woken up in the middle of the night. I can't let her cry herself back to sleep, because she won't. She'll just stand at the door banging on it and screaming which would wake up her sister.

I'm coming down with something also. I plan to take it easy today at home so I can get better. We're having a mommy/daughter night out Wednesday to see "The Lion King". I have to be better by then!

I hope you feel better today. :goodvibes How are you feeling bad? Chicken soup and vitamine C are always good. I'm glad that you are able to take it easy today. :goodvibes

I pick the DVC theme so the only add I see is for the Timeshare Store. I'm wondering what threads you were looking into to trigger those ads. :rolleyes1

Okay, explan this to me. I can pick a theme? I've been here for 2 years and didn't know that. And what kind of threads would trigger those ads? I'm a good girl. :goodvibes :rotfl:

I wish the Dis had a theme that was more...Just Disney. ::yes::

I think I like the DVC and the Disney Cruise Line ones the most.

Those are the two I switch between. If you go to the Budget Board, you get the current sponsor ad. But when you're at the CB, you get your theme. I prefer that to the trigger ads. If you click into a thread that talks about cheating spouses or the diva cup, those ads will pop up. It may even be triggered by what is on the CB titles, but I'm not sure.

Okay that explains it. Thanks :thumbsup2

How are you feeling?

How are you feeling?

I'm okay. It's either a cold or allergies. I get a stuffy nose that drains into my chest forcing me to cough up nasty stuff. It's worse at night than the day. :confused3 I get this every year and the cough will linger for a month or three. DH tells me to go to the doctor, and every year the doctor says there's nothing they can do since it's not an infection. It's really more annoying than feeling bad.

Summer colds/allergies are no fun. I hope you get over this quickly. :goodvibes

:grouphug:

I hope it ends soon! Tell us all about it when you can; we'll listen! How did your weekend go??? I was thinking of you every time I logged on here.

Yes, do tell. I'm in need of sane conversation.:goodvibes

Aww. That's sweet. My weekend was...okay. I was supposed to have a rather "heavy" discussion with BF on Friday night...but we ended up fighting about something completely unrelated and I kind of felt like carp the rest of the weekend.

Needless to say, we still need to talk. Ugh.

I did see "The Happening" on Saturday. I liked it. It was spooky, a tad on the gory side and actually kind of thought-provoking. I personally thought it was one of M. Night Shayamalan's better movies.

Yesterday we took my dad and one of my grandfathers out for breakfast and spent the rest of the day vegitating. I wasn't in the best mood. BF knows something's up, but I'll talk when I'm ready.

There's nothing wrong with today. The afternoon is just feeling very, VERY loooooong, ya know? I expected it to be much later than 3 when I looked at the clock.
