No, I'm just a Florida resident who goes to Disney a lot. Even though we're passholders, we still pay for MNSSHP every year for the past 5 years. Though with rising prices, this may be our last year for a bit. But probably not. Normally I would say you'd have no problem getting tickets for the end of September but free dining could cause you some trouble.

Here are the reasons we go every year:
Cool parade, amazing special fireworks, shorter lines, big bags of free candy (we usually give the extras away to our trick or treaters), and costumes.

If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer. But if you love Halloween, this is not to be missed.

And this is our year to do all the things we have never done before. I guess I had better check with the others coming with us so i know how many I need to get and who is going. I think we will do it our 4 regardless.... You have talked me into it. We love disney and are not the disappointed type anyway.

Very best of luck to you! I hope it sells! And I know it is not the easiest time to go into the business but if it matters, I love my job. And if your daughter is thinking of going into it because she would love the job, tell her to go for it! But if she thinks she will get rich... well... she could have rich months but...she can have some very dry ones too.

When she found out it was a different town, she was not interested. We are signing with a realtor Sunday. I have no idea how lakefront property is moving. My daughter was thinking of the career b/c she thought it may be something she would enjoy. Getting rich didn't cross her mind. She is still a Junior in HS. Believe me, just getting her interested in anything is a step in the right direction.

It didn't sell. In fact, I didn't even get to show it. The lake the lands is on is surrounded by 5 different towns. The guys wife assumed the land was in the town we already live in. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh junior in HS... Not sure where my mind had placed her. Tell her that my son plans to get his real estate license and practice during college to earn his money for college. He gets a lot of hands on training with flyers and measuring listings and pictures and setting up buyer and listing packages. He can even pretty well look at comps and price someones house correctly in a range.

Can I just vent for a moment? (If you are currently shaking your head no, I advise you to please just skip to the next post cause I am not waiting for the vote)

I woke up this morning thinking my cash buyer was ready to put in an offer for a 600,000 house. She called and said not yet.

Then after taking out my puppies (who are not puppies but instead 3 years old but I call them puppies) I noticed my princess was bleeding from her who who. And she is not able to bear as she has been fixed and therefore is a baby to me forever cause she can't be a mommy.


So I called the vet and they said bring her in. Ok. Ok. I have to take the boys to school at 815 and have a 10am meeting across town and the vet is 45 mins from each. That leaves no time for anything. But it is my puppy and I am near tears.

So I do all of that running and the meeting and keep checking my blackberry. No call, no update. then I get to the office and call and they cannot get her to pee. So... I say give her some water in a cup because she won't drink from a bowl. (no, she is not that spoiled, she is a pekinese and thinks she is drowning in a whole bowl and at home she has a bottle like a hamster)

so finally they call and say it is at Urinary trac infection. Did you even know a dog could get that?????????????? But she will be fine.

Now I am still working because I lost 3 hours in driving time today. So why am I here? umm... because I didn't want you all to have all the fun while I worked?

I'm sure your property will sell. We bought 6-1/2 acres a little a year ago. It's waterfront too. The creek is about 8ft-10ft wide!! But it's full of little waterfalls that sound wonderful!!

Good luck LegoMom! Lord knows I despise winter myself. It costs me time and money and I can't have enjoy any outdoor fun. I'm past the days of liking sledding and snowmen. Even the kids get bored with it after one good snow.

I drool for the thought of Florida during the winter!

Congrats on getting the tickets Tinkerbellarella. You can arrive for MNSSHP around 4, though the party doesn't start until 7 (check close to the date to see if this changes). I'd recommend not doing a full park that day because it will be a late night. Are you going to wear a costume? Some people go all out. My group just wore matching mouseketeer t-shirts and mickey ears with our names on them. We may wear the same thing again. The kids change every year.

We are actually doing a full park day at the MK on the day of the party, but we're doing a later start and will break to have dinner at Le Cellier and then go back to the resort to change into costumes.

So, the answer to your second question is yes, we'll be dressing up. Our trip has a "pirate-y (read: we're planning to abduct Cap'n Sparrow)" theme, so we'll either be pirates or Disney-friendly wenches (read: less cleavage and less bare leg).

Belated congrats on your tickets! I'm so behind on posting it isn't funny because I got caught up in a k9 cop discussion. We did MVMCP one year and it was great. MNSSHP sounds like it will be way more fun though. I like the pirate theme!

You know, Tour Guide Mike has a touring plan for MNSSHP. We used his plan for MVMCP and it really, really worked. We stayed away from the crowds all night.

You know, the break might be a good thing. It's been three and a half years since my last trip and I think I'm more excited than ever because it's been so long.

Oh, and I can't wait for the HP park at Universal!!!

Now...if only they would do a Lord of the Rings park...
