I just thought of something.....With all of this talk about upcoming trips......where is TK?

I don't know where TK is, she seems to not have shown back up yet. . .

I've been wondering about her also. She's back from her trip (almost a week now!) but has not posted, that I've seen. Lots of folks have posted on her PTR but so far no response. I hope everything's ok and she's just extra busy with post-vacation catch-up stuff, or is just dealing with a bout of post-Disney-depression or the like. All that will pass. I just hope nothing's really wrong.... It's not like her to just disappear.

I changed my reservation too!! We are now have a kind bed at the Frence Quarter. I know, we are all nuts.

It is cooler. Its about 75 this morning. But it is very damp feeling. Next week it is supposed to be dryer with day temps in the low 70's and night temps in the 50's. I couldn't believe that heat wave we had. Where did that come from? Mean Queen. hopefully temps are on their way to modifying there as well. I sure hope so. I have read so many reports about how hot it is there now. 95 feeling like 105!! Isn't that above normal for ya'll?

Very above normal. I think the low yesterday beat our previous record high for this time. I'm hoping the cool front hitting you makes it all the way down here. I just asked DH if he wanted to go back to Epcot next week for the day to do the F&WF and he said only if it gets cooler. And I agree. That's how hot it is, I'm not willing to brave the heat again for my favorite Epcot event.

You will love POFQ! I think Riverside would probably remind you of home, but FQ will take you somewhere else.

Smileybug--POR definitely reminds me of home (remember I was born in Charleston, SC). I think that is why dh is so comfortable there--it's so quiet and rustic in nature. I'm looking forward to different scenery, and from what I've read, the resort is much more compact that POR. That was the major reason for me going there instead. If I am going to be by myself, I want to be close to everything.

Hey guys, wanted to let you know that TK is alive and well. She'll be back around before too long!


So I've come to the realization that I'm about to do and be something I used to swear I wouldn't.....

I'm going to get a little fleece jacket and become the owner of a small dog that needs to wear it. He's a terrier mix and they just don't have nice thick multi-layer fur! Of course he'd die in the summer if he did. But this morning DH and I were on the front porch swing with our coffees, and noticed that Tucker was shivering!! Poor guy! It's been rainy and 58 for two days straight. He's chilly!

Of course you realize I'm setting him up for dog geek-dom....he'll be the only farm dog around that has to wear a sweater!...

I wish I could help, but I know nothing about art. Except for what I learned in art appreciation in college. That semester, I took Astronomy, Biology, Art Appreciation, Music Appreciation, and some other 4 hour course (probably psychology), plus 2 pe's. I don't think I remember anything, but being amazed that I made a 4.0 that semester. . .
