Oh my gosh. That is adorable!

I wanted to stop in and say hello to my Tagless/Formerly Tagless friends. How ya'll doin'? I've missed you! Too much time on Facebook. :sad2:

UGH I had an entire post written out and 'poof' it was gone.

PaMom, what an adorable baby. :lovestruc

Smiley, Winter is not here yet, but I am afraid it's on it's way. We have lost many leaves.

LegoMom, Theoden is a great name. I also like his son's horse's name, Brego. I pronounce it Brago, but I don't know if that's correct. If I had went with naming my dogs after LOTR's instead of NASCAR, I thought of Brago for my male. If I got another male cat, I was considering Rohan. Pippen sounds perfect for your cat.

Hi DO! Yeah, that FB stuff really sucks you in, doesn't it?! I'm only doing FarmTown these days.

How's everything else with you?

.

Hey LegoMom, we posted at the same time. ;) You must be so excited about your horse.

Pretty good. School is kicks my butt at times but that's a good thing. I started back on 3rd shift this week. How are things for you? Are you in Texas?

Thanks ya'll. I actually giggled when I saw it.

LegoMom....I like that name.....sounds regal.

SadieDog....is winter showing itself to you yet? (I hope not.)

He's a regal horse! Pure Polish Arabian. He needs to gain some weight but he will be stunning when he's filled back out. I can't wait to take pictures and video of him.

Ok, my page didn't load completely a few minutes ago for some reason, so I'm just seeing this now.....HOW CUTE IS THAT?!!!

.

So, I was sitting in the house, thinking. (A Dangerous pasttime--I know). And I decided something. . .I really don't want to go to Caribbean Beach Resort. I want to go home. But I don't want to stay in the mansions at POR. And the resort is HUGE.

So, I called Disney (again).

And I changed my ressies to. . .Port Orleans-French Quarter. Have any of you been there?

Yep, been in TX for 2 months now. LOVE it. It's totally "me.":goodvibes

Haven't stayed there but we've spent time there around the resort. The rooms should be pretty much like Riverside, just different decor. The resort grounds are really, really pretty. Walking down the "avenues" is very pretty. I like the hot tub there; it's away from the main pool and tucked in among the greenery. The food court has HUGE mardi-gras masks all over the ceiling....some are clown-like so don't look up!:rotfl: But they redeem themselves with that heavenly little puff of goodness known as the Beignet...:lovestruc

I"m heading up a mountain today. I hope I don't drop dead. :rotfl2: It's been a few years.

So cute!

Amanda - POFQ is my favorite! It reminds me of being in the real French Quarter without all the smell of Bourbon Street in the morning. Though, if you are one of the clown haters, the food court will not be for you. Just pay someone to buy the beignets for you, because they are so worth it. When we make reservations for a non-DVC place, POFQ is always our first choice.

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

Another dark day here. But I am enjoying it.

DO, it was good to see you back. Even if I wasn't apart of the chatter.

So.....Mean Queen, the beignets are THAT good huh? We will have to make sure we make the trek over to French Quarter to sample some. :thumbsup2

Good morning all!

Very quiet morning here so far since I'm still the only one up! Trying to decide what to do with our afternoon, based on the chance of rain today vs tomorrow. We wanted to head up to Waco and check it out, do a few things and eat at the Cracker Barrel there. We have outside stuff around here that needs doing, that we were going to do tomorrow. But I'm starting to think about swapping the days. Waco is mostly indoor stuff.

They still talk locally about the bad drought this summer and how much this area needs rain....Umm, we're getting pretty wet and squishy out here in the county!!! The dock in the camp's swim pond is only 6" from being under water!

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday....:goodvibes

SadieDog
- tell us how the hike went when you get back!

LOL, when I changed the reservations, the first thing Sweetie said was, "But mama, aren't there supposed to be clowns in the food court?" :rotfl2: I didn't even think of that, but I am staying anyway, and perhaps the beignets will give me the courage to get over that particular irrational fear.

PAMom--I wanted to tell you yesterday that I think that alpaca is so cute. I thought I had, but apparently, there was a massive emergency with the kids or something (ie--could not get along for 3 minutes for me to post). DH was at the South Carolina/Kentucky game this weekend, so it's been just me. (Yet another reason why a week long vaca away from everyone is a good idea)

Sadiedog--how cool is it up there now? Yesterday I was in Lumberton, and I saw a person with license plates from Maine and I thought about you. (Actually I thought, I know SadieDog drives better than this idiot--he decided it was a good idea to cut me and a state trooper off--resulting in being pulled over)

Smileybug--is it cooler there today? This morning, we got up and it was so cold, I thought, "I better turn off the air," to only realize the air was not on! I'm wearing sweatpants today! :yay: My fingers are somewhat frozen tot he keyboard, which could be a good or bad thing.

:rotfl::rotfl2:I changed my reservation too!! We are now have a kind bed at the Frence Quarter. :lmao: I know, we are all nuts. :rotfl:

It is cooler. Its about 75 this morning. But it is very damp feeling. Next week it is supposed to be dryer with day temps in the low 70's and night temps in the 50's. :woohoo: I couldn't believe that heat wave we had. Where did that come from? Mean Queen. hopefully temps are on their way to modifying there as well. I sure hope so. I have read so many reports about how hot it is there now. 95 feeling like 105!! Isn't that above normal for ya'll?

UH, typing in the dark again, Smileybug? A kind bed at Frence Quarter? :rotfl2: I love this weather and am actually hoping for cooler weather in Florida in December, then I can decide which season I like the best there, KWIM?

That heat wave was terrible and I am glad it is over (for now--we've had a lot of hot weather in December before). At the end of winter I am ready for warmer weather, but at the end of September I am ready for cooler weather.

I am thinking up upgrading to a king bed at French Quarter, but I don't know if I really want to. That's a big bed for only one person. :rotfl2:

I have a light on smarty pants. Its called trying to type to fast. And not proof reading. My Ds did a clean up on my computer a while back and I lost the spell check. Just haven't searched for another one. This computer is dying. I need a new one really bad. But, I love this one so much. I keep going and trying out new ones. But, they just "feel" different. And I don't like it.

If I were going alone I think I would skip the king bed as well. :thumbsup2

I just thought of something.....With all of this talk about upcoming trips......where is TK?
