Well, today has certainly been a day. Not good, not bad. Just a looooooooooooong day. I am boycotting cooking tonight.

Procrastination has come around and bit me in the butt. I called today to finally make reservations for the Wishes dessert party at MK for Saturday. They were all booked up. Now we may need to adjust our plans to see Big Bad VooDoo Daddy instead.

Oh we had a great time! The camp grounds were beautiful and the pool was awesome! I especially liked not having to cook or clean up for 3 days!!

Well apparently it's Firefox. I'm on Internet Explorer now and I'm getting the "red x" where the splat should be. So it's not gone.

I'll give ya'll the quick version of what has been happening with us. Our Secretary decided to leave us. She was working from home over the summer. (Easier on her. She has kids) Long story short.......She wiped out the hard drive on her computer. ALL OF OUR FILES ARE GONE. We didn't know who has been invoiced. All of the time sheets. All of our financial stuff is GONE. I have been back tracking like crazy making sure that our bank accounts are okay. Getting invoices back in order. Setting up a new Quick Books with all of our info. Things have been insane around here. We knew money wasn't coming in like it should. And come to find out she hasn't been sending out invoices or tracking any that were sent out. And yes she was a trusted employee. We just don't understand this. As well as all the obvious trauma she has caused..... it has also been such an emotional blow. We feel so betrayed.

Smiley, I'm so sorry that happened to you. Running a business is hard enough, but to have a trusted employee betray you and take your business down at the same is heartbreaking. I hope you are able to recover anything you have lost before any major damage is done to your business.

Thanks Mean Queen. We have had the computer looked at and the majority of the files that we need now are unrecoverable. So I am taking it one day at a time and literally rebuilding. We are moving forward.
