I absolutely love the motherlode cheat. I wish it was applicable in real life.

I hope you all have a great Tuesday. We're going to give it a go for DS going to preschool today and see what happens. His allergies are still really bad and his nose is running something fierce, but I hate to keep him home when he's obviously not contagious, you know?

And then I second guess myself. But truly, he seems fine, other than that.

I was poking around on my blog site last night and came across a link to another blog...the title of it was "Oh My Stinkin' Heck!".... Funnier still, it's a homeschool-themed blog and, having done that before, I know where this gal is coming from!! I laughed so hard at that title.

I went for a bike ride today. I found a mostly-back-road way to the nearby park, then when I get there I ride the rec trail and park drives. When I got home I mapped it out on Google...come to find out it's 4 miles from my house to the park!! I had no idea it was that far! But then I felt really good about having done it.

Had lunch with my dad after that, and a few minutes after we got back here to my place, we got a nice Florida afternoon thunderstorm! Poured like heck for about 5 minutes, then went away and the sun came out.

Well, my lasagna is done so it's time for dinner. Thus concludes your LegoMom update.

Rats! No rain at my house. Though my weather alert radio keeps going off like crazy. I'm starting to wonder what good it is since we don't listen to it anymore. After repeated marine warnings, you tend to feel it's crying wolf.

I'm looking forward to AI tonight! I got tickets to the Tampa show. I'm going with my DD.

Hey ya'll. My day wasn't as exciting as LegoMoms. Right now I'm trying to figure out what plants I want on the back porch and new deck area. Our weather has turned cool. Last night actually got down to 52 . We had the windows open. Talk about nice. Today was in the low 70's. Tomorrow will be upper 70's. Then it will be back into the 80's the rest of the week.

I hope AI is good tonight.

I FINALLY have a computer again. My hard drive died and we lost everything. We bought a used computer today and just got it hooked up an hour ago. My Outlook email is so differnt from my old Outlook Express. It's going to take some poking around to get used to it. I'm watching Idol now. I missed all of you.

Who saw AI last night? I absolutely loved Kris Allen's version of Heartless.

Don't throw tomatoes, at me though--I hated Adam's version of the Aerosmith song. I think after that, he might be in trouble. Not mainstream enough, IMO. I would like to see Adam and Kris in the finals, though. Danny, imo, was forgettable. I thought You are So Beautiful to me would redeem him, but it didn't, IMO, when you put him next to Kris.

...ITA....Adam usually knocks my socks off with his incredible renditions of different songs - he always seems to make then his own, but I thought he sucked eggs last night....just wasn't feelin' it...
