Me too with the foot thing! But I even had socks on last night and still got chilly. It's cold again tonight so we'll be running the heat!
So how was your weekend?! Any details you want to share, feel free....
.
Ooops! Forgot to report. It was a quick trip, so it'll be a quick recap.
We arrived at BCV around 9 a.m.. I had done online check-in, so our keys were at the desk, but the room wasn't ready. We met up with our friends and the guys took off for the golf tournament. My friend and I took the 5 girls to Epcot. It was a be-u-tee-full day so we walked it. Though I took a wrong turn at Albuquerque. We went right when we left the Beach Club instead of right. We ended up going around to the Boardwalk and getting the boat because the kids are wimps.
We walked in the back entrance of Epcot. Since it was before 11, the World Showcase was closed. As we walked, we tried to plan out our day. First on the list, head to Test Track. The line wasn't too long, but the kids voted to fast pass it and head to the Sum of All Thrills. Since my little one couldn't go on, she and I made paper and checked out other areas of Innoventions while the rest of the group waited in line. DD3 wanted to see the girls on the ride, so we went back just in time to see my DD10 and my friends DD7 chicken out. I called that one. My friend and her two other daughters had a great time on their virtual coasters. The line wasn't bad, but I didn't want to make anyone wait with DD3 so we moved on. Next up was the Great Piggy Bank Adventure on the other side of Innoventions. DD3 loves this one because you carry a piggy bank around. The other kids like it because of the games. Least do they know, it's teaching them about saving money.
It was time for our Fast Passes, so we headed back to Test Track. We love that ride! Hunger started to set in along with the realization that my friends kids are picky eaters. They turned down eating at any of the countries. I refuse to eat at the Electric Umbrella when there are so many better choices. So we compromised and went to the food court in the Land. I was sad to see the cookie baking area is now more seating.
Next up, Living with the Land. I didn't notice any updates, but I did notice there wasn't a Mickey shaped vegetable! We fast passed Soarin' knowing full well my DD10 will not step foot on it again. She is scared to death of it.
DD3 was begging to see Nemo so we trekked over to the Living Seas. We rode the ride, stared at the manatees and dolphins, then headed over to Ellen's Energy ride. I thought the little one would nap since it is a 37 minute long ride (as they tell you many times.) But she was too afraid of the dinosaurs.
When we got out it was actually pretty warm. The kids begged to go back to swim. We had got a call that the room was ready, so we walked back. This time, we didn't get lost.
Now came the not so fun part of the trip. DD3 is about asleep in the stroller. We get our room number from the front desk, for some reason they didn't give it in the phone call. We walk all the way to the room (pretty far from the front desk) and find all 9 keys do not work. I left my friend and the kids there while I hunted down a house phone. The desk said they'd send someone over with new keys. 20 minutes later, someone shows up. We joked that we looked like a camp of homeless people in the hallway. All this excitement lead to no nap time for DD3.
We call the guys hoping they'll pick up the luggage on the way to the room. They're at the ESPN zone watching a game and didn't plan to come back before our dinner.

My friend went down to bring the luggage to the front so a bellhop would bring it to our room. At this time, it was too late to swim before dinner so we just relaxed (as best you can with 5 kids in the room.)
The Cape May Cafe clam bake was great. If you love seafood, I highly recommend it. I ate two buckets of crab legs, a bucket of clams, a bucket of mussels and many desserts. There also were some tasty ribs and chicken.
It was bed time after dinner. We planned to get up the next day and hit the pool. And that's what we did.
Since this is longer than I planned, I'll post about the pool tomorrow.
