Tagging ?

How do you "tag" someone? And what's the point of tagging?

Place @ before someone's screenname. It's a specific alert to notify someone of a post especially if you are not directly quoting them. I sometimes get tagged when I'm not a part of the thread but someone believes I am able to add info to the thread.

@PrincessShmoo you'll get an "alert" notice when tagged in a post. It's a way to call your attention to that thread.
