I remember the first post I saw with Tag Fairy in the title and wondered what in the heck is that about and just had to read it. Now I love reading the tags.

I'm truely addicted to DIS. Thanks to all who shared their wonderful advise we're DVC members otherwise I might still be straddling the fence on whether to buy in or not.

They basically surprise you with colored text under your username that is either something you may have said in an earlier post that will come back to haunt you (some of them are really funny!), or sometimes they just put what ever they want. It's the only way to get the colorized text. It's a mystery as to who actually does it...your guess is as good as any!
