I don't think you need to be online to have your tag applied, if that's what you're asking. Mine appeared after being away for a day or so...

Patience is a virtue...There are many others who have been around longer and don't have Tags.

Who even knows? It started out as something small, and now there's the Tag Fairy clothing line, The Idiot's Guide to the Tag Fairy, Sweating with the Tag Fairy videos, etc. It's just way too commercial. I think the little ones don't even know the true meaning of the Tag Fairy any more!
