Tag Fairy, please make DS happy

Dear Tag Fairy,

While reading other posts today, my DS-almost 4 was wondering why other people had pretty colors by thier names. I tried to explain the Tag Fairy to him. After hearing the tags are from a "Fairy", he thinks maybe Mommy hasn't been a "good mommy" since I have no tag. Please help? Thank you!

I won't let my kids think I am a bad mommy because I play tapes at night while they are sleeping telling them how great I am!!

But seriously, I believe the tag fairy understands the Mommy thing..being a woman and all.. and I believe that she will tag you! No mommy should be thought of as bad..even ones that play with their kids minds!

Just one question-----

How do you know the tag fairy is female? Have there been clues around here that I have missed (am I clueless)?

I guess I never contemplated the gender of the TF.

Good luck. Sometimes it seems the TF is very elusive.

I know the Tag Fairy is a women because anyone that cool has to be right? Ok, maybe I don't know for sure..but I also think God is a woman..not that the Tag Fairy is God ..or just maybe

I saw a rumor once that the Tag Fairy might be male! I think it was on the Restaurant board. I guess he doesn't understand the disappointment of a 4 year old Maybe a bribe will work?

Please help Stimpy's little boy believe that his mom is a good mommy and leave a pretty colored tag under her name. WE believe in the Great Tag Fairy, just like we believe in the Great Pumpkin..but we need to keep the Tag Fairy alive by creating believers in the next generation!

PS. I was reading the other tags and the Tag Fairy specifically says "She" has been very busy! So she is a woman after all!

she tagged me with some clever tag refering to herself as a she but she took that tag off and gave me another one. (probably to keep everyone guessing) but as you can see from the bottom of my post, I KNOW the TF is a she!! I agree with onecoolmama. She is pretty cool. But I still want her to Tag Tigger Fans!!

TF - thanks again!

The TF is the person who has access to our DIS accounts and can add funny little sayings under your screen name in different colors.

You can add any message you want, but only the TF can make it different colors.

The TF tend to find amusing things you say and tag you with them, or sometimes begging and clapping seem to do the job.
