I haven't been on the DISboards long enough to understand what a "Tag Fairy" is or what one does, but if they come to your house and clip the tags out of every piece of your 2-yr-old's clothing I would certainly welcome them into my home! Anyone else with this problem? DS2's morning routine now includes me clipping the tags off of every shirt and pair of pants before he will even think about wearing them. I even had to clip the tag off of his bath towel yesterday! He doesn't even want me to have tags on MY clothes. DD5 was never like this. Is it a boy thing??? :confused3 :teeth:

My DS2 has had us cut out some of his tags. Mainly because they itched him (mainly from a few pair of underwear and a couple of shirts). A couple times he was scratching so much he started to bleed (and we keep his nails clipped). Of course, I probably brought it on myself. I don't think he even know his clothes had tags until he saw me have DH clip one out of a shirt that was just bugging the heck out of me :rolleyes1 Then all of a sudden his tags started itching him :rotfl:

My DS was like that when younger, now he is better about it and doesn't mind most of them. He, however, has sensory issues and some kids with those have more severe trouble, even with the seams on socks.

Hopefully it will just be a passing thing, otherwise look for those great tees with the tag "imprinted" on them! :)

ROFLMAO! :rotfl: My DD is the same way and she's 5. At least now some manufacturers are starting to print the label right on the clothing part ~no more itching tag!

I have a daycare child that doesn't like tags in his clothes either, and if his mother has not already cut them up, I need to the minute he walks into the door (with his parents permission of course).

OMG! :rotfl: I thought my DD2 was the only one that did this. I now have no idea what size any of her clothes are! Every time I want to put an outfit on her, I have to hold it up and see if it looks like it'll fit. I love her to death, but she;s driving me batty with the tag thing! Never had this problem with DS6. I guess it's just the age, not the gender, if that's any consolation. Hoping they both outgrow it soon!

I think I have you beat!! Not only do I have to take the tags off of clothes, bath towels, sheets, conforters, etc..... I even have to take them off of his stuffed animals because he swears that they make the animals itchy too!! :earseek: For some reason he started this at about 2 and it won't stop!! :confused3 :sad2:
