Both of your packages have arrived. I didn't open them, but they aren't banged up or anything so I would think they are fine.

I am spending the weekend putting together 20 scrapbooks for the first graders. They were supposed to make all the pages themselves, but time wasn't budgeted accordingly. I have made 2 pages so far and put the photos on three and am still making the cover page. I need to put the page protectors in the covers and then put the pages in the protectors. It's gonna be a long weekend.

I have the pages made, sorted by child and put in proper order. Now for the sleeve stuffing and putting in covers. I would have liked to have used nicer covers, but there my personal funds are limited and nobody volunteered to send in any money. Most of it came from my pockets. Paper, stickers, Circut die cuts, adhesive, page protectors and pocket covers. I am so not telling my DH how much was spent on these things. But for as much bitter sound I am right now, I am pleased as punch that the kiddos did a lot of the putting together of the pages themselves. Spending the time with them to put them together was priceless. I have some really great memories.

I've got two of my three groups complete and I'm working on the last now. I plan to mail tomorrow morning, but if Morgan stays home from school, it may not be until Tuesday (she's got a fever, cough, and headache, I bet it's a virus - maybe the same one Bubba had? She managed to make it through the recital last night, but she woke me up early hot hot hot ). Either way, I'll mail priority.

I have finally finished the scrapbooks. Used my SCAL to make their names and years for the cover. Looks pretty cute.

Will get everything out of their packages tomorrow and put them in with their groups.

DH brought her to the ILs to practice riding her bike this afternoon and then we had a family cookout (until the rain!). She seemed better, but is now running another fever. She's complaining of a headache and has a really bad case of the sniffles. If she still isn't feeling great tomorrow (good chance of that), I'll call the doc in the am.

Don't you love that Karen Foster paper? Found it at Mike's in a package with some Christmas papers, I think 24 sheets for $1? Talk about a steal

I can't wait to see your scrapbooks, will you show us a cover? When Morgan was in 1st grade, I went in to her school and made her teacher a scrapbook with the kids. I haven't liked any of her other teachers enough to put all that effort into it again. I can't imagine making 20!

well, I was all set to mail today til DD got a hold of a pair of scissors and cut all my Fawn tags!!!! ERGH!!!!!
So I am starting over tonight, but we have a public hearing meeting tonight so it will probably be Wed before I mail.

Serves me right for leaving the stuff out where she could get to it but I was trying to finish up the wording on the tags.

Here are my Silvermist tags. The picture sucks out loud, they look MUCH better in person! The little flowers have seed beads in the centers. I used my Cricut and markers to do her name.
