MaryKatesMom said:I just remembered another one that happened just recently at my local Wegman's (a grocery store). On Tuesday's the chain gives a 5 or 10 % discount for the grey set. There are buses of people who shop on that day, so I usually avoid Tuesday's but I needed to be there that day. I decided I needed a quick lunch and was getting something from the chinese buffet.
At first I thought I saw a woman touching the chicken then moving away. But then she came back and I watched closely while she picked up a piece of chicken with her hands, broke it in half put one half in her pocket and the other one back.![]()
If the store wasn't so busy, I would have gotten the manager.
nothing against seniors since i am rapidly getting there but i wonder if this is part of'losing it',as in mentally a little,,my own parents can afford to live a good lifestyle but pull stuff like this sometimes..don't know if that age group is just replacing being thrifty with being cheap to the point of fanatical ? i mean some "fixed incomes" are as good or better than working class incomes
