We will be getting Annual passes when we go down in May. How do I get the Tables of Wonder Card? Do I have to order it ahead of time?

Thanks for any assistance- I can't seem to find the info anywhere.
Pam

You can buy them at the same time, we always do it at DTD because of less lines

Guest Services. Thats what we did as well. It saved us a ton of money too!

I just called about this today. How much did you save by getting the pass at DTD versus having them mail it to you before you go? Just shipping?
Thanks

I think PP means the tables in wonerland saved them a ton of money by using the card.

I got my card at the Guest Service window at the International Gateway entrance at Epcot. No line, took five minutes and got it on my way onto Epcot and used it 10 minutes later in Epcot.

Mine Expires in May and it has more then paid for itself already, you even get 10% off at the Pop Centuary food court. Just found that out on my last trip 3 weeks ago.

Love the name "Tables of Wonder". Much more appealing than "Tables in Wonderland", which I still don't understand!

As for the card, we have it, we like it.

What is tables of wonder card?:confused3

Op here- actually it is "Tables in Wonderland" card- my mistake. It is a dining savings card available to Florida residents and annual passholders. You have to purchase for $60 for a year and it entitles you to 20% off food & beverage at most TS restaurants.

It used be called the "DDE" or "Disney Dining Experience" card.

Same thing at all of the All Star food courts. Ours paid for itself in one trip. Plus, we used our Disney rewards to pay for it. We're going to use it at a few of the Animal Kingdom CS restaurants next time we go.

Another huge hooray for the DDE/ now TIW card.:thumbsup2 Saving 20% on the overpriced cocktails and meals more than pays for the card if you eat several meals in WDW. You may want to do some rough calculation of what you think you'll spend on food and drink to see if the TIW card makes sense for you.

So the break even point is $300 / year in meals?

Anything after that is a 20% discount?

Yep. For us (our table is 3-6 wine-drinking adults) that is one or two nights at a signature like Jiko. If you have a family with kids and are doing lots of character meals, you will break-even pretty soon too. Plus we do lots of resort dining, so we love that valet parking! FWIW.

We love the TiW card, especially for the discount on alcohol :drinking1

For each 2 drink order (one for me, one for DH), we saved about $3.

It pretty much is like a free tip. **BEWARE** that they add an automatic 18% gratuity to your tab with the card. I didn't realize this the first place I used it and gave a 20% tip on top of the 18% tip. Yikes!! I didn't make an issue of it since DH and I had shared one meal so it sort of made up for it. At least thats what I told myself. What the heck, its Disney. Another $12 wasn't going to break the bank in the grand scheme of things!!

Since it was just DH and I on this trip, we didn't make all of the ADR's I had planned on so I'm not sure we totally got the best of the card. But we'll be back in December and will make up for it.
