Keep in mind you have to prepay for CRT, and they will not apply the discount until you arrive, at which time the amount of the discount will be credited back to the credit card you used for payment.

We have a Disney vacation planned for 11 days. We will probably not be back in a 12 month span from the end of our trip, unless we hit the lottery.

Our plan is to eat at TS meals every night of our trip. Probably will have CS lunch or breakfast, but not both. So that's 1 CS and 1 TS meal every day.

So, if I buy an AP ($478.19) and a TIW card ($75.00) for a total of $553.00, but then back out $314.18 for 1 MYW 10 day pass, I am left with a $238.82 cost for my TIW card. Make sense?

If this is true, then my break even point would be $1,194.10 of billable meals at TIW venues, right? Of course, all meals (or snacks) eaten at non-TIW venues would not be applicable.

I'm hoping someone can confirm or deny my poor attempt at TIW justification math above. TIA for any help.

Do you pan on park hopping or going to water parks remember that costs more on a ten day pass. If you a family of 4 you should have no problem spending that much money on food at Disney.

Tracie: I bought my TIW card in the MK this time. Just go to Guest Relations and they'll take care of you. I believe you can do this in any of the parks.

We were a party of 4 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. We ate one TS on most days during a 10 day visit (including CRT) and it more than paid for itself. Addtionally, we stayed at Windsor Hills so our parking was free due to my annual pass. When I figured up the value of free parking, the food and drink discounts, my AP (including the cost of the TIW card) ended up really costing me <$50.
